ROOMS IN A HOUSE
My Favourite Room
Hi, I’m Jazmin. My favourite room in the house is the kitchen. It is a very
big room. There is a large table with a lot of chairs. There is a modern
cooker, a fridge, a microwave and lots of cabinets. We have breakfast
together every morning. My parents usually eat bacon and eggs with
coffee and toast, but my siblings and I hate eggs and bacon. We prefer
hotcakes with syrup or caramel, and hot chocolate milk or orange juice.
We never have lunch together because my parents have a salad at work
and we eat a sandwich at the cafeteria in the school. I don’t like the food
at the cafeteria! Puaj! My friend Carol doesn´t like either. So we bring
our sandwiches from home. For dinner we are all very tired so we
usually eat pizza or hamburgers and sometimes macaroni and cheese.
But the weekends are so cool! We are a very big family and we meet
every Sunday for lunch. My mom likes cooking and she is a great cook. She loves deserts. My grandma cooks delicious food like
pasta, pies, or roasted chicken. In summer my dad and my uncle make a barbecue in the garden and we all swim in the pool or play
ball with our cousins. I love Sundays! What about you?
