FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTING PROCEDURES

1. Visual Inspection

1.1 General arrangements of components’ layout.

1.2 Brands/ models of components.
1.3 Dimensions of switchboards.
1.4 Feeder’s termination (top or bottom / cable or busduct).
1.5 BAS termination compartment, if any.

2. Mechanical Operation

2.1 Air circuit breakers.

2.2 Moulded case circuit breakers.
2.3 Mechanical interlocking for feeders and coupling system.
2.4 Mechanical interlocking for transfer switches (auto / manual)

3. Electrical Tests

3.1 Insulation Resistance Test.

To verify that the insulation level for all busbars of the switchboard is able to withstand 1000V DC
insulation resistance value shall not be less than 10 megaohms.

3.2 Dielectric test and insulation test.

To verify that the insulation level for all busbars of the switchboard is able to withstand a test

voltages of 2.5KV AC for withstand time of 1 minute. Acceptable leakage value not more than 100mA
3.3 Primary current injection tests to verify CTs’ polarity & ratio, spill current and all Overcurrent /
Earth Fault Relay setting.

4. Factory Inspection Feedback and Comment Form

To rectify comments made during inspection and rectification works before delivery.
