North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), an Autonomous institute located at
Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, propose to engage the services of the
following personnel purely on contract basis for a period of Six Months which may be curtailed at any point of
time or extended by the competent authority.

,Rs. 6600/- and Rs. 5400/- with NPA respectively

3 Lecturer 1 Essential Qualification- Up to 65 years
(Ayurveda) (One ) PG degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject
recognized under IMCC Act, 1970 and Registered
Shalakya Tantra with Central/ State council of Indian Medicine.
Desirable:

4 Professor 2 Essential Qualification: Up to 65 years

9 Surgical 1 Essential Qualification: Up to 65 years
Specialist (One ) 1. Post Graduate Medical degree in the concerned
subject recognized under IMC Act.
2. Register with the MCI or state Council in a
hospital/Institute of repute.
3. 7 years experience in the relevant subject after
acquiring Post Graduate Degree.
10 Radiologist 1 Essential Qualification: Up to 65 years
(One ) 1. Post Graduate Medical Degree in the concerned
subject recognized under IMC Act.
2. Two years experience in the related field after
acquiring Post Graduate Degree.
11 Anesthetist 1 Essential Qualification: Up to 65 years
(One ) 1. Post Graduate Medical degree in the concerned
subject recognized under IMC Act.
2. Register with the MCI or state Council in a
hospital/Institute of repute.
3. 3 years Senior Residency in the concerned
subject.

The selection will be made through Walk-in-interview/ test scheduled to be held on 12/03/2019 at O/O Director,
NEIAH, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya-793018 (Near NEIGRIHMS Police Out Post) from 10:30 AM
onwards. Interested candidates fulfilling the prescribed criteria should report for interview/ test by 10:00 AM.
Candidates should bring along two passport-sized photographs and original certificates along with photocopy of
the same duly self-attested in support of their Age, Qualifications, Registration & Experience etc. Reservation of
post is applicable as per Govt. of India rules. In case no candidate is found suitable for appointment in the higher
post in teaching, the post will be filled by respective lower level post. Retired persons from Central Govt. / State
Govt. / Govt. Autonomous Organizations may apply. For details of advertisement regarding name & nos of the

However, the consolidated remuneration will be commensurate to their position for retired personnel. No TA/DA
