 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Please check the admit card carefully for your Name, Roll no. and Date of Birth (DOB). In case of any inconsistency in
particulars on the admit card, candidates may get in touch with the Examination Superintendent on the day of examination
for necessary action.
2. Candidates are required to carry both Admit Card and a valid photo-identity card issued by Govt. Organization like Voter ID/
Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Driving License etc. at the examination centre. If identity of the candidate is in doubt,
the candidate shall not be allowed to appear for examination.
3. Reporting time is one hour before the commencement of examination as specified in the admit card. Candidates are advised
to reach the centre well in time.
4. Gate of the Examination centre shall be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of examination. Entry shall not be
allowed under any circumstances after the gate is closed.
5. Candidates are allowed to bring only Pen/ Pencil inside the examination hall. Any kind of textual materials are strictly
prohibited in the Examination centre. Sheets for rough work will be supplied by the Invigilator during the examination. The
used rough sheets are to be returned to the Invigilators before leaving the examination hall after the completion of
examination.
6. A Virtual Calculator shall be provided on the computer screen during the examination except for B.EL.ED, M.A. in Economics
and M.Phil/Ph.D in Economics.
7. Electronic and communication devices like cell phone/electronic watch/calculator/smart electronic gadgets etc. are not
allowed in the Examination centre in any case.
8. Any candidate found resorting to any unfair means or malpractices or misconduct during the Examination, including
giving/receiving help to/from any candidate shall be debarred from the examination
9. Bags, eatables and water bottles are not allowed inside Examination Hall.
10. The mode of the examination shall be Computer Based Online Test (CBOT). Candidate must enter his/her User Name
(Examination Roll No.), Pin No. (Date of birth in YYYYMMDD) and Password (which shall be given in the Examination Hall) to
login 5 minutes before the Examination Start time. Please ensure that your Name and other details which will subsequently
appear on the screen are correct.
11. No candidate is allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the end of Test i.e. 2 hours.
12. The candidates shall only be allowed entry as per the allotment of the examination centre as mentioned in the Admit Card.
