COMPOSITION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, TECHNICAL
MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION, AND INFORMATION ON
THE GUIDELINES AS WELL AS ITS SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

The Davao Regional Athletic Association (DavRAA) Meet 2018 will be held on February 18 to 23,
2018 at the University of Mindanao, Matin, Devao City. This will be hosted by the Local
government of Davao City and DepEd Division of Davao City
‘To ensure that only the best among qualified athletes are sent to the DavRAA Meet, mandatory
thirty day in-house training shall be undertaken at A, Mabini Elementary School and Davao City
SPED National High School, Bangkal, Davao Cityfrom January 17 to February 17, 2018. Only
those athletes, coaches, asst. coaches and chapcrons who were approved by the Schools Division
Superintendent are legitimate participants to attend the suid training:
‘There shall be Training Staff assigned to assess, monitor and evaluate the different events. Coaches
are enjoined to submit their Training Matrix on or before January 12, 2018 to Nenita B. Prior —

A. Mabini Elementary School and Davao City SPED National High School shell be the official
venue for quartering. All delegates from different schools, whether private or public, are required to
register on January 17, 2018, Also, oat A. Mabini Elememtary School gym shall follow. However,
other concerns with regerds to quartering shall be addressed only upon its written request which
shall be submitted to this Office subject for the approval of the undersigned. Only those with formal
request shall be dealt with in accordance to the Department’s policies and standards:
Each delegation shall take charge of its own needs most especially the provision of its own kitchen
utensils as well as its respective demeanor and discipline. Child Protection Policy shall always be
adhered among all delegates,6

All Coaches, Asst. Coaches, Chaperons and Members of the ‘TMA shall at all times, exercise the
extra diligence of a good father from the first day of the traiming (January 17, 2018) until the last
day of the DavRAA meet (February 23, 2018),
Submission of athletes and coaches’ documents and records for screening and evaluation shall be
on January 8, 2018 at 5.00PM, Division Sports Center. You may coordinate with Mrs. Segundina
Ramos, Chair- Screening Committee (09228609835/0933879979 1 jrevarding this concern at T.
Palma Gil Elementary School near LRMDS Unit, Quirino Avenue, Davao City;
‘The No Alcohol, No Smoking and No Gambling policies of the Department shall be observed for
the whole duration of the training and actual DayRAA Meet. All members of TMA. shall
coordinate closely with the Division Sports Coordinator to ensure protection among all delegates.
Anyone who will be caught or reported, upon its due process, shall be sanctioned administratively,
In order to address and countercheck the concerns/issues of the delegates, there shall be a regular
daily coordination consultation/conference with the Division Sports Team and Division Training
Staff. Minutes shall be taken by the Documentation Committee;
All concerned members of the TMA shall at any time be requested to report to this Office to do
the necessary task from January 3 to February 28. 2018. Such attendance shall be coordinated
through the Division Sports Coordinator;
School officials and teachers who will serve in the DavRAA Meet shall be granted vacation service
credits on services rendered on weekends (January 20, 21, 27. 28 and February 3. 4, 10, 11, 17 and
18) pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order No, $3, 3. 2003 (Updated Guidelines on Grant of
Vacation Service Credits to Teachers). Non-teaching staif shall be provided with Compensatory
Time-off (CTO) per CSC and DBM Joint Circulars No. 2, s. 2004 on Non-Monetary Remuneration
for Overtime Service Rendered Nevessary documents such as This Memorandum, Certificate of
Appearance, Certificate of Participation, Daily Time Record and a Concise Narrative Report with
Pictorials (long size bond paper) shall be submitted to this Office,
All delegates shall adhere to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 entitled DepEd Child
Protection Policy. DepEd Order 55, s. 2013 or Republic Act 10627 “Anti- Bullying Act” As such,
all TMAs, and Coaches shall be held responsible for the protection, welfare, and safety of their
pupils’ student-athletes. A Medical Team with our Child Protection Desk shall be deployed at the
main venue and other selected venues of the Meet:
In case of inconsistencies in the conduct of the DavRAA Meet, please refer to the existing DepEd’s
policies and guidelines, specifically DepEd Order No. 43, s. 2016 re: Implementing Rules end
Regulations of RA 10588 and the Palarong Pambansa Act of 2013;
Effective January 17 to February 28, 2018, the following Members of the Davao City Grievance
Committee shall address any violations incurred by the members of the TMA as well as the
Coaches, Asst, Coaches and Chaperons in the performance of their duties and funetions;
