Terms & Conditions
1. E-tendering and two bid (commercial and technical) procedure through www.nprocure.com has
to be followed for quoting the rates.
2. Validity of the quotation should be of at least 90 days from the last date of receipt of the
quotation. The rates quoted by the bidder shall remain firm till the completion of the job and
price variation shall not be entertained.
3. This tender document may be procured / downloaded from (n) code solutions website
www.nprocure.com and the last date for on-line tender filling is 16th February, 2013.
4. The Commercial bid / quotation rate/ bidding rates for the items have to be uploaded /
submitted through www.nprocure.com on or before 16th February, 2013.Technical details/
specifications/ compliances, DD of tender fees and EMD have to be scanned and should also be
submitted online.
5. The Quotation rates / commercial bid for the items must be submitted online only.
6. The Hard copy of technical details/ specifications/compliances (i.e. Technical bid only), the
original DD for Tender fees and EMD have to be submitted to the Principal, College of Food
Processing Technology & BioEnergy, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, between 18th
February to 23rd February, 2013 by RPAD/Speed Post.
7. The tender fee Rs. 2500 (Rs. Two thousand five hundred only) and EMD amount should be
paid trough DD in favour of “Anand Agricultural University fund account“ payable at Anand.
8. Quotations / tenders without tender fees, earnest money deposit (EMD) will not be considered.
9. Conditional tender shall not be accepted.
10. Prices should be quoted FOR laboratory and inclusive of all taxes and levies and including
installation and commissioning. However the bifurcation of taxes/levies may be indicated. The
university is eligible for exemption of custom duty/central excise duty being educational/
research institute, hence, while submitting the quotation, due consideration be taken.
11. The dimensions of the item, its photograph/drawing, original colour catalogue of the product
and other technical details be provided with the technical bid.
12. Tin no, PAN no, etc of the vendor should be enclosed with the tender.
13. Payment shall be made only after satisfactory completion of the job in toto. No advance pre-
payment will be considered.
14. The quantities specified are only indicative and for the purpose of estimate only. The university
will be at liberty to vary (delete/reduce/decrease) the quantum of the item. Also the university
has the full right to order or not to order the items even for the successful Tenderer, depending
upon latest budgetary situations or any other reasons.
15. The successful tenderer shall furnish Bank Guarantee/Performance guarantee which will be
equal to 5% of the work order value, within 10 days from the receipt of Purchase/supply order,
which will be returnable after completion of the warranty period, failing which 5% of the
purchase order value will be withheld for the period of the Guarantee/warranty.
16. In case of dispute, the decision of Vice Chancellor, AAU, Anand shall be final. For any legal
remedies, the courts of Anand shall only have the jurisdiction.

supportive bacteria or other micro organism. Frame work:
Fixing as lay in finish in T-grid system, T-channel should be
fixed with inter-locking system and channel should be powder
coated. Strap hangers, perimeter channels, intermediate
channels, ceiling profile channels, connecting clips, soffit cleats,
"L" section, etc., of required length, hanger straps to be fixed at
600 mm x 600 mm centre to centre, into R.C.C. slab, anchored
25 mm deep into the concrete of the ceiling. The frame work to
be fixed with hanger straps using nuts and bolts and screws, in
line, level & slope for flat and curved surfaces as per design &
details or as directed, including testing by hanging specified
weights at specified points, pulling down with jerky movements,
etc. complete. Channel exposed edges ground extremely smooth
with hand or grinding machine. Cleaning the finished floor walls
ceilings, etc. to their original good condition, complete in all

2 Providing and fixing full height glass partition with 12mm 4350 sq ft 45000/-
clear glass saint-gobbain or modi guard ( acid work or sand
blasting work on it, as per design) fixed with stainless steel
cladded aluminium profile on bottom side fixed with floor with
necessary SS screws and top side and both side of doors with 65
mm X 40 mm X 1.20 mm thick medium-duty anodized
aluminium hollow tube framing of approved quality as per the
list of approved brands in grid as per details, fixed with sides
and soffit of beam / ceiling with bracket and cleats as required,
including filling hardwood in the bottom level tube, which shall
be connected to the glass partition as per details, 8mm thick
fibre-cement flat board, it should be weather, fire, shrinkage and
termite proof, not brittle and non asbestos, surface spread of
flame class 1 property, water absorbtion not grater than 35%,
thermal conductivity 0.15, fixed with necessary required
grooves. Paneling on both faces of aluminium framing from top
of the glass partition level and up to minimum 100 mm
underside of false ceiling's highest finished level as per design &
details, 8mm thick fibre-cement flat board should be finished
with good quality pu or epoxy finished (as per selection and

 approved) fixed with self tapping screws in line, level & plumb,
including removing debries and making site clear and clean, etc.

3 Providing and fixing 12 mm thick clear toughened glass 420 sq ft 12000/-
door (saint-gobbain or modi guard, acid work or sand blasting
work on it, as per design), with making holes / cut-outs as
required, making edges clear smooth polished, fixed with
stainless steel cladded alumium profile glass door rails with
necessory door assembly( pre installed hardware, removable
clip on covers, end cap, and rubber gasket or proper grip) and
fixed on Double action floor spring with closing force EN3,
having high grade cast iron mechanism body, housed within a
corrosion resistant zinc paint protected galvanised steel loose
box, internal mechanism components utilizing heat treated high
alloy steel & ball bearing for optimum efficiency, closer
mechanism totally immersed in hydraulic fluid, "hold open"
models, having the possibility of the shutter being held open at
90 degrees angle, adjustable closing speed valve, with pivot to
suit patch fittings and door shutters, having tempered full glass
panel of up to 80 kg weight, and Door handle : 475 mm long X
32 mm dia. "S" type, back to back installation, glass damage
preventing gasket, grub screws finish complete in all respect.

4 Wall Painting in two coats with Acrylic Emulsion Plastic Paint 5000 sq ft 5000/-
of approved shade and brand on surfaces to give an even shade,
including thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar
droppings and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth,

aluminum section of hindalco, jindal, narmada, balco or
equivalent approved make having section 50.80 mm x 25.40 mm
(weight 0.489 kg/m) glazing clear section (weight 0.109 kg/m)
with plain anodized and fixing 5mm thick bajari/clear glass
making frame and glass water tighening making it good etc.

6 Providing and fixing aluminium window having three track 150 sq ft 5000/-
with aluminium section of hindalco, Jindal, Narmada, balco or
Equivalent approved make 92 mm X 31.75 mm (Weight bottom
section 1.070 kg/m, top section 0.933 kg/m, shutter section 40
mm X 18 mm (weight of handle section 0.417 kg/m)
interlock0.547 kg/rmt mounted on bearing to slide on tracks

7 Laboratory S. S. Fixtures 3000 sq ft 15000/-
Modular laboratory fixtures including pedestal frame
structure, under bench storage module, work top, sink, water/gas
valves etc.
All the components shall be fabricated from AISI-304 stainless
steel material of appropriate thickness minimum 16 gauge and
reinforcements to obtain a stable, rigid and sturdy laboratory
work station. All the surfaces are precisely finished, leveled and
polished. All the shutters and the drawer-fronts are in the same
plane. All the modules be interconnected with fasteners. The
drawers/shutters be dust resistant, noiseless working, self-
closing type. The leveling screws covered for good aesthetics be
provided at bottom of tubular legs. There will be black granite
top of 19 mm thickness at a few places. The sink, drip cups,
water tap, etc be as per ISI approved design and construction
and complete in all respect. The rate should be included with
materials & complete installation at our laboratory. (Rate / Sq.

8 Laboratory M. S. Fixtures 3000 sq ft 15000/-

Metallic work bench of desired length and width as 750
mm and width of 900mm. It should consist of pedstal / flexible
frame assembly and corner modules, under bench storage
modules having two shutters and one drawer.
The bend top will be of Granite 19mm think The work fixture
will be fabricated from virgin CRCA sheet. The furniture will be
epoxy powder coated and with proper chemical treatment. All
the joints will be sealed with silicon. The rate should be included
with materials & complete installation at our laboratory
