behavior/legal issues, academic concerns, and family issues; there were severe cases with students who
had not seen their parents because they abandoned them, or were in jail
● Wrote a letter to a judge on a student’s behalf due to improved behavior and academic achievement

● Mentored a student to help her make better choices so she could attain her goal of going to college
