Islam is considered as a universal religion.

It is the only religion on the earth for

whichAllah told in Quran “Near Allah, the only religion is Islam” So, all other religions are

now forbidden by Allah. Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh) is considered as a leader of allProphets and a seal
of the Prophets and mercy for whole universe. The religion has two purposes. To establish humanity
and universal brotherhood and live in this world peacefully and to reach to divine court of Allah and his
messenger (Prophet) by practiceof prayers, meditation, submission and contentment and patience.I
read one of the Hindu website. They want to promote the Hindu religion. Everybodywants to protect
ones religion. But actually religion has taken the existence to savehumanity. So, religion is for human
being. Now from the Hindu website, it clearlyindicates that they make open aggressive statements
against other religions. They arehurting them. So, actually, they are not serving to their own religion. All
the religions taught us the way to reach at the almighty Allah (God). But even Allah(God) has sent so
many messengers to show the right path and to guide towards the right path. Now when one
messenger comes on the earth, due to his noble and kind efforts, theworld gets the peace. After the
demise of the messenger or saint, the kind effect of theworld slowly and slowly goes on deteriorating
until very crudeness (cruelty) takes the place. Sins are then increased to its high peak. Then almighty
Allah has to send nextmessenger to improve the world. This system worked until the last messenger
andProphet Mohammed (peace be upon him) arrived. It must be noted that the messenger of Allah is
directly connected to almighty Allah whereas the saint is connected to Allahthrough messenger of
Allah. In Islam, there exist uncountable number of saints, knownand unknown. But all of the Islamic
saints are connected to Allah through (via)messenger Prophet Mohammed(pbuh). It must be noted that
when the messenger is sent, he brings laws of Allah with him whichhe orders the worldly people
to follow. These rules can be different for different prophets. But when next prophet arrives with latest
rules to follow, the previous prophet’s rules arereplaced by new prophet’s rules. Not necessarily that all
the rules are changed. Somerules are modified. The system of following the rules of the freshly sent
prophet is justlike our parliament law making. When a new modified law comes,
it automaticallyreplaces the previous law. In this way, it is worth noting that the latest laws
are thosewhich were brought by the last prophet who is Mohammed (peace be upon him). So, allthe
people must follow the laws given by Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh). Hence theMuslims follow the
ultimate and final laws given by Islam. Those not believing in theserules are called infidels. This word is
given by Allah.Islam has come into existence from one person who is messenger of Allah and
whosename is Mohammed (Pbuh). You must recognise him that his single being was able toconvince
the system of Allah. So, I don't want to tell about his super natural matters. The great miracle was that
he had no shadow of his own body against any light like sunrays or lantern light. He was totally light
then how can a light form its own shadow. Thesecret reason behind this was, in fact, Allah did not want
to even insult to the shadow of his beloved prophet Mohammed (Pbuh). It is natural that if anybody is
standing in hotsun, he must have his shadow on the ground and some other person can walk over
hisshadow. Think, when the Allah did not like the shadow of his beloved prophet be insultedlest one
should walk over even unknowingly. The present time is a time in which the

Allah almighty has given dominance to Satan, the evil, and hence cartoons of such a pious Prophet are
made! Otherwise, no good people can even think of such a bad idea for so great Prophet.
ISLAM’S PROPHET WAS AN INVENTOR OF DEMOCRACY : The birth dayanniversary of
Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) should be celebrated asdemocracy day and freedom day
(freedom from darkness) and Reply to question WhyIslam? At the present time it is irrelevant to
question on the prophet hood of Mohammed (Pbuh), because, he defeated all the opponents who
were against the truth including greatmagicians of that time and fraud prophets of that time. Various
propagandas failed whichwere delivered against him. While in the time of present rule of democracy, if
someoneis elected just few votes more than his opponents, and able to rule the large country, it
isunwise to not accept prophet hood of Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh) whose followers aremore than
two billions.Common people cannot defeat the present day magicians, how do they argue
againstsupernatural spiritual enlightened unique personality like prophet Mohammed (Pbuh)? So, the
prophet hood of Mohammed (pbuh) is unchallangeable. His life was so simpleand full of hardships that
he remained hungry for days. If he wished he could have livedluxury life. If we see Islamic history, his
life prior to declaration of prophet hood wascomparatively much richer than his life after declaration
of prophet hood. So, he did notearn money from prophet hood and never was it his mission. His
mission was to givehumans the eternal salvation.I want to write one more truth of the world; and that
is the invention of democracy by prophet Mohammed (Pbuh). Islam opponents may or may not know
this thing. But theyare bias. They have prejudice. In every age such people will be there. Satanic power
isalso running in the world. Allah(God) has made this system. He allowed for human beingthe option to
choose from truth and falsehood by showing the ways through prophets andsaints. Allah could have
killed the satan and there could be no evil forces in the world. But then what about the testing? Allah
(God) has created this entire creation so that he

can be recognized. And for his recognition, he put the test of false hood and trueness andshowed the
way for guidance. The inventor of the Democracy in the whole world was a Prophet Mohammed(peace
beupon him). It was his sacred habit to free the slaves by paying to their owners. HazaratBilal (RA) and
Hazarat Salaman Farasi (RA) were among the freed slaves by him. Sohow can he bear the state
administration without election? He laid the foundation of democracy in the world. He instructed his
companions that after his demise(taking veilfrom this world), they should ELECT their leader
who would govern the Islamic stateaccording to charter of laws stated by Islam, propagate Islam and
look after the welfareand security of the people. The demonstration of the democracy was performed
by firstfour leaders of Islam one after the other who governed the state in a most fantastic wayand
extended the state boundaries to a big country the area of which covered present daySaudi Arabia,
Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt and Afghanistan. Let us celebrate the birthanniversary of Prophet
Mohammed(Pbuh) as a "Democracy Day"

Islam is a universal religion in that its Prophet was sent to all peoples of the world, regardless of their
race, colour, culture, traditions and geographical location, as the Qur’an states, “We have only sent you
(O Muhammad) as a mercy to all the worlds.” (Soorat Al-Anbiyaa’, 21:107)

That is why Islam respects all the various human traditions and does not require new Muslims to
change their own traditions unless they contravene some of the Islamic teachings. Thus, any traditions
that go against Islamic teachings must be changed and replaced with a better alternative, for it is after
all Allah, the All-Knowing, the All-Aware, who commands and forbids whatever He wills, and our faith in
Him requires us to act in accordance with His laws.
Islam also teaches that Muslims’ traditions that are not related to Islam and its teachings must not be
considered ‘Islamic’, and that a new Muslim does not have to honour or observe them, for they merely
constitute a set of permissible customs of a certain group of people.

Summary

Islam is the religion taught in its fundamentals by all the prophets. It is the religion which the first
human being was instructed to follow. It is the religion of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and
Muhammad and all other prophets (peace be upon them all) throughout the existence of human
beings.

From the world view of Islam, most of the world's major religions originated in the pure religion of
Islam itself and only through the teachings being lost, forgotten or wilfully corrupted have these
religions changed. Judaism claims special status for the Jews as the chosen people - a status which
cannot be acquired except through birth [1] and which makes a Jew superior to any non-Jew (goyim)
whatever their beliefs. Christianity insists that you must believe in various doctrines which form the
foundations of what is distinctively 'Christian' belief in order to be 'saved' (i.e. that Jesus (peace be
upon him) died to atone for the sins of Mankind, that Allah is a trinity etc.). This doctrine, the (Catholic)
church itself admits [2], didn't develop until several hundred years after Christ and so cannot possibly
have applied to those before Jesus nor to his early followers. In contrast to this, Islam has at its core, a
simple message which applies to all human beings before Muhammad (pbuh) and all after his time:

"...And they say: "None shall enter paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain)
desires. Say: "Produce your proof if you are truthful." Nay whoever submits his whole self to Allah and
is a doer of good, he will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear nor shall they grieve."

Qur'an 2:111-112

The word used in this verse for 'submits' is 'aslama'. It is from this verb that the word 'Islam' comes as
'the submitting'. Islam is a word that doesn't have any connection with an area or a particular character
from history, it is the one and only truly universal religion and fittingly it has a truly universal name:

The word "Islam" means voluntary submission to the will of Allah

1. . ISLAM AND PEACE

2. 3. MEANING OF ISLAM The word ‚Islam‛ means submission and surrender to Allah by sincerely
worshipping Him alone and not worshipping any other god, lord or master. All of the Prophets,
including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad were Muslims. The word for peace
‚salam‛ is derived from the same three-letter Arabic root word - SLM - as the word ‚Islam.‛
Indeed, only through Islam will man find and establish real and comprehensive peace

3. 4. ISLAMIC GENERAL PRINCIPLES 1. Respect for the human life 2. Equality of human Status 3.
Freedom of thought and opinion 4. Freedom of learning and teaching
4. 5. CONDITION OF PEACE IN ARAB 1. Before Islam 2. When Islam came 3. IN Quran 4. IN
khutaba hajat ul wida 5. According to mulana Wahiduddin khan (11 jan 2005)

5. 6. PEACE AND JUSTICE 1. What is peace and justice according to Hazrat Ali Ibn Talib (R.A)

6. 7. MEDINA CHARTER OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) AND PLURALISM  The Medina
Charter serves as an example of finding resolution in a dispute where peace and pluralism were
achieved not through military successes or ulterior motives but rather through respect,
acceptance, and denunciation of war —aspects that reflect some of the basic tenets of the
religion Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was guiding and promoting. Through an
examination of the Medina Charter, I will show how pluralism was advanced and instituted in
Medina, and the reasons reflecting on such a document could help avoid the divide and
misunderstanding plaguing much thought, rhetoric, and media today between Muslims,
Christians, and Jews all over the world.

7. 8.  The Quran states that the Lord “teaches by the pen” (96:1- 5). This is indicative of the
Medina Charter in that it is a reflection of these verses, an example of how God is educating
people and changing thought patterns through discourse, whether in speech or writing. In this
case, the discussion resulted in peace achieved through mutual consultation, contemplation,
and through seeking agreements in which tribes felt they had benefited from the charter and
had not been robbed of status or undermined by unresolved antagonism from the past.

8. 9. HUDAIBIYAH ACCORD A true example – Islam is a religion of peace

9. 10. HUDAIBIYAH INCIDENT Hudaibiyah encounter occurred not only gave Muslims courage but
it also tested their courage and faith in Islam.

10. 11. JOURNEY FOR UMRA As per established practice, the Makkans were bound to allow
pilgrims coming – but without arms – to perform Umra. But this time Quraish leaders not
allowed Muslims to enter in Makkah.

11. 12. RUMOR OF KILLING UTHMAN BIN AFFAN In this situation, despite 400 km away from their
city and having no proper arms to fight, Muslims were ready to fight unto death. This broke the
morale of Makkans and they agreed to discuss terms of peace with Muslims

12. 13. TERMS OF HUDAIBIYAH ACCORD  There will be an armistice between the two parties and
no fighting for the next 10 years.  Any person or tribe who wishes to join Muhammad and to
enter into any agreement with him is free to do so. Likewise any person or tribe who wishes to
join the Quraish and to enter into any agreement with them is free to do so.  If any Makkan
went to Madinah, then Muslims would return him to Makkah, but if any Muslim from Madinah
went to Makkah, he would not be returned.  If any young man, or one whose father is alive,
goes to Muhammad without permission from his father or guardian, will be returned to his
father or guardian. But if anyone goes to the Quraish of Makkah, will not be returned.  This
year the Muslims will go back without entering Makkah. But next year Muhammad and his
followers can enter Makkah, spend three days and perform the Umrah.
13. 14. PATIENCE OF PROPHET (PEACE BE UPON HIM) The most irritating conditions of the treaty
were the clause Nos. 3 & 5, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) showed extreme patience by
accepting all these terms.

14. 15. FATAH AL-MUBEEN When the Prophet returned from Hudaibiya, he received the Divine
revelation that Almighty Allah had put a seal of honor on this treaty called “Fatah al-Mubeen”

15. 16. ABU JANDAL The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Abu Jandal “we have just concluded
a treaty with Quraish in the name of Allah and we honor it. Be patient and resign yourself to
the will of Allah. He will provide you relief”.

16. 17. HUDAIBIYAH ACCORD PROVED Islam in fact a religion that promotes peace and
understanding among people of all faiths.
