AMETEK’s MD3018 Remote Seal Differential Pres-
sure Transmitter is designed for real time density
measurement of process media. The all welded
316 SST hermetically sealed design provides
excellent corrosion resistance. The unit is fully
submersible, significantly reducing the errors asso-
ciated with temperature gradients typical of other
remote seal systems.
The High Temperature PVC Shroud provides pro-
tection from pulsations and vortices created by
mixing agitation, but still allows free flow of the
media. The remote seals are designed to reduce
caking of material which compromises measure-
ment capability.
This model is ideally suited for applications such
as drilling mud density and cement density mea-
surements.
