LETTER OF MOTIVATION

My name is Fadhilah Rachman and usually called Dhilah, 20 years old born on 10 Februarui
1998. I am a student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jember, Indonesia, and
now I am undergoing my 5th semester.

I have had many dreams since I was in high school, one of which I was able to go abroad at
some time. And with so much motivation I made a point that I should be able to get out of the
country while in college. I am very interested and want to know how it feels to study in a
different country, beyond Indonesia, for the sake of it. With different disciplines, sometimes I
am very impressed with the learning system in developed countries, i am also very interested
in knowing what culture is abroad, which is why I want to realize my dream of going abroad.

Very fortunate, the pharmacy faculty of jember university is part of ISMAFARSI, and
ISMAFARSI has its flagship program in student exchanges, namely "SEP". I have several
reasons to join this program and I am really very interested, first of all I want to realize my
dream of being able to go abroad. Second, I want to have a lot of experience in the field of
pharmacy. Third, I want to have more relationships, and in this SEP activity we will meet
pharmaceutical students from all corners of the world, and we can discuss abot
pharmaceutical world with them, and that will be a very valuable experience for me.

After reading and exploring some information, from the 4 fields provided in this SEP activity
I was interested in the fields of industry and community pharmacy. Firstly, Why i choose
Industry, because I have aspirations later I can continue my pharmacist profession in the
industry. So by having experience in the pharmaceutical industry I will have basic knowledge
of what the pharmaceutical industry is, before I actually entered the world to continue my
pharmacist professional education in the industrial field. And the second why I choose
community pharmacy? because community pharmacy is my second choice to run a career as
a pharmacist later. Therefore I want to know how they provide good service and educate their
people.

From several countries that have collaborated, I chose Korea for the Industry sector, and I
chose Japan and Singapore for the Community Pharmacy field. Why I chose Korea in the
industry, because I was curious about the Korean cosmetics industry that is very global, what
the process is like. For Japan, I was really curious and wanted to visit this country, because in
my opinion Japan is a developed country that is very rapidly developing, as well as Singapore
I was very amazed by that country.

During the achievement lecture that I have achieved I received a scholarship to improve
academic achievement for one period, for the field of experience in industrial activities and
community pharmacy I have no experience. But for the Community Pharmacy field I learned
a little from the experience of being a committee at one of the campus events that socialized
medicine to the community directly, so there I have a little idea how the community
pharmacy sector will work in the world of work.
So for that reason I have hope to be able to join this student exchange, and I will realize one
by one my dreams.
