The emfis Plus is an instrument for measuring and metering electrical values for Three
Phase, LV Electrical Network. It consists of 3 push buttons on the front panel and a l Insulated secondary 5A / 1A (selectable)
bright LCD display. l Current circuit burden < 0.25VA

Please refer to Table 1.0 on page 6 for the parameter details of the model being used. l Starting Current 5 mA (Secondary)
l Overload without CT 7A
The emfis Plus series meter provides optional two relay outputs available for control
l Overload with CT 6500A
function and programming of Upper/Lower Thresholds, Hysteresis, Time Delay and
NO/NC contacts for Voltage, Total Current, Frequency, Power & Demands.

The emfis Plus series meter provides an optional RS485 serial link.
l Measurement range 120V AC to 300V AC Phase to Neutral
The emfis Plus series meter provides last 6 months billing history. This includes Energy
Parameters (kWh, kVAh, kVArh lag, kVArh lead), Maximum Demand (kW, kVA) with Auxiliary Supply: 240V AC, +30%, 50Hz
date & time stamping, Maximum Parameters (Voltage, Current, Power) and Hour (Run l Burden < 2.5 VA
hours, Power On hours).
Pulse Output:
The emfis Plus series meter provides last 30 days load profile. This includes Energy
Parameters (kWh, kVAh, kVArh lag, kVArh lead) with date stamping l Duration 100ms
l Width 1 Pulse = 1kWh
The emfis Plus series meter provides last 10 event occurrence/restoration for each
Relay 1 and for Relay 2.

The emfis Plus series meter provides data values for Energy, Hour and Maximum
Parameters with date & time stamping for the last reset event.

1. Pulse output is Open Collector Type.
2. External Resistance is to be used between DC Supply point & 'S' for Pulse
Output. 2. If meter is in the programming mode and no scroll button is pressed for 1 minute the meter
3. For 24V DC use an external resistance of 6.8KΩ. automatically comes out of programming mode.
4. The External resistance value will vary depending upon the external voltage
(5-24V) being given by the user.

For some application where you require monitoring a particular parameter, scroll lock function

To activate the “Scroll Lock” function, press & hold any of the scroll keys for 5 seconds, the
scroll is now locked and the display shows: To set Delay Time
