On behalf of the graduating Cohort 12, I say welcome to everyone and thank you for

It is an honor and a privilege of speaking to you today as we celebrate our
accomplishments together.
9 Years ago, after high school education, I wanted to do an Information Technology
degree, by that time the campus I choose given me false hopes and middle of studying I
got to know that degree is not a recognized one.
I was lost and stop my education for a while, and then did some self-studying
through the internet and learned how to develop websites. When the time pass, I got
married and then I was happened to give birth to my little daughter. But my dream of
doing a degree was always there.
My husband is a Software engineer, He is also a Teesside university degree holder, he
was the one who recommends and tell how much good atmosphere Londontec city
campus has, now he is working as a CTO in U A E one of the leading software company.
having this degree was a big benefit for his career.
After 2 years of raising my daughter, I decided to follow a dream that I had with
encouragement and support from parents and my husband. I can honestly say I have
never looked back and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have met some incredible
people along the way and made some amazing lifelong friends. I am so grateful to have
been allowed this opportunity at a great university and alongside a fantastic group of
people.
I join to the campus with doing Pearson Edexcel- HND in computing. After finishing
higher national diploma, I got to know about Teesside university degree program and
join with that. right from the moment myself got accepted to this campus all my life has
changed: gained knowledge and experience I never knew before and acquired new skills
I never thought I could master. As a final result, I was lucky to achieve a 1 class degree.

I am sure what I just named can be applied to any student. We all think that we come to
a campus to receive specialization and study professional subjects, which, undoubtedly,
we do, but we often forget about the school of life and adulthood that this place gives
us. The campus makes us better people – wiser, smarter, kinder, more generous and
open to the world, and I hope that our campus is proud of those people we have
become.
