Participation
Every FAI affiliated National Airsport Aeroclub may enter a team of three competitors in each
class, one team manager and one assistant team manager. The individual World Champions 2009
are also invited to participate. Each country’s supporters are also invited to attend.

Organizers

As approved by the F.A.I, the F.A.A : Federacion Argentina de Aeromodelismo is responsible

for the organization of this World Championship.

May 2nd – May 9th, 2011
Flying Site location
The flying field is located in the town of La Cruz, located at less than 20 minutes from the hotels
area.
The field is the same of 1989 and 2005 World Championships.
The field is a large flat and unobstructed area of aprox. 4 x 6 Km.

Competition rules
According to the valid FAI Sporting Code, as well as all applicable amendments.
Sporting licenses
Each competitor must have a FAI Sporting License, issued by his National Aeroclub valid for
2011.
Timekeepers
Each participating country may enter one timekeeper and these timekeepers will be preferably used.
The intention to enter a timekeeper should be announced on the entry forms.
All these timekeepers should speak basic technical English and their proficiency be confirmed by
his country´s team manager.
The organizer will provide free accommodation and meals together with the local timekeepers for
the full official period of the contest. They should act on all contest days and attend the briefings for
timekeepers. Binoculars, stopwatch, tripod and rain equipment will also be provided by the
organization.
Official languages
The official languages are Spanish and English.

Transportation

Transportation from official hotels to the airfield and back is ensured by the organizer and included
in the full accommodation option.
It is very important that the organization knows in advance who are going to use this transportation
option and who will not require it.

The official entry deadline is March 1st, 2011.

Entry Fees:

Competitors: 250 Euro.

Team Managers/Assistant Team Manager: 180 Euro.

Supporters: 35 Euro.

Accommodations:

Full accommodation package:

Includes 7 hotel nights, at official hotels, 3 meals a day served at hotel, opening and closing
banquet tickets and transport to and from flying site.
Cost of Full Package: 320 Euro.

For those who do not chose this package:

Opening Banquet: 35 Euro.

Closing Banquet: 35 Euro.
Transport to and from flying site, 7 days: 30 Euro
List of alternative hotels in Town will be published at web page.

Payments
According the following table, teams may get some benefit paying the fees before the entry
deadline and will have to pay penalty when paying after the entry deadline:
