Los Angeles, California, October 27, 2010- Colocation America, a leading colocation and
dedicated server provider, has announced their initiative to provide IPv6, a publicly used
Internet Protocol, for their clients which will enhance their business operations.

IPv6 was developed to meet the demands of the Internet¶s rapid expansion, with its
predecessor being IPv4. The most notable change between IPv4 and IPv6 is the actual
address. An IPv4 address was composed of 32 bits [4 bytes], which was portioned
between network and host. The new IPv6 address is now 128 bits long [16 bytes], with
the host portion being derived from a MAC address.

³By embracing IPv6 technology, we are doing a great service not only for ourselves but
also for our fantastic customers,´ said Micheal Trunkett, President of Colocation
America. ³Our clients will be able to experience this new protocol which brings a higher
performance rate and less latency. With many years of experience in operating and
developing new technology, we are fully IPv6 ready.´

In conjunction with a larger address space, IPv6 simplifies routing, better supports
security and is easily compatible with mobile applications. The operation of these new
services and devices has quickly sped up with the adaption of this protocol by thriving
and emerging economies.

This new addition is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the portfolio of services
that Colocation America offers. As one of the top colocation providers in the country,
they have made sure that their facilities are consistently up to date with the latest
technology and hardware.
