Chicago Mission Trip (2015)
My freshman year summer, I took a trip to Chicago with my church. We did a number of mission
work including, food packaging, running a food bank, painting a church apartment complex, and
serving breakfast at a kitchen.
Community Connection Day (2015-2019)
- Every year we get together with a group and go out and help our Northwood Community in
whatever way we are asked.
Day Camp (2015-2019)
- I have been helping out with Day Camp for four years! Every year I am asked to help plan, run/
lead, and clean up after Day Camp. I plan activities that will be done throughout the week in
different stations such as, Games, Science, Snacks, Reading, and Arts and Crafts. During the
week of Day Camp, I am in charge of Story Telling, and watching kids over their "recess"/ lunch
break. I am also in charge of making sure they find their parents or get on the bus afterwards.
After Day Camp I help take everything down and clean up the church.
South Dakota Mission Trip (2017)
-My Junior Summer I went on a mission trip to South Dakota. On this trip our mission work
included, A children's day camp, cleaning up trails at Custer State Park, food packaging, helping
with yard work at an Indian Reservation, and setting up/ helping at a food bank.

Youth Group (2015-2019)
-Every Wednesday I have devoted to showing up for youth group. It gives me a sense of
belonging, and I get to talk to many people I don't usually talk to or see.
