Installation Guide for Blue Prism

Make sure that your system in having minimum with Below Configuration
 Windows 7 OS,
 Blue Prism Installation software
 Blue Prism Licence File
 SQL SERVER Express Edition
1. Steps to Install - SQL SERVER Express Edition
Double click on SQL Server Edition .exe file.
It will extract the file and then able to see below screen
Now click on New SQL Server stand-alone installation link

Click on Accept the licence check box and then click on Next button

Clicking on Use Microsoft Update is optional (Suggested is don’t click on this checkbox)
Click on Next button

Select All the check boxes under – Instance Features and click on Next button

Installation is in Progress

Make sure Named Instance: SQLExpress Instance ID : SQLEXPRESS shown and then click on Next
button.

Without making any changes click on Next button

Select Window authentication mode and click on Next button

Finally able to see below screen as all success

2. Steps to Install - blue prism

Note: Change system date to April2017 and start blue prism installation

Double click on Blue prism .exe file and click on Next button

Click on I Agree button and click on Next button

Select the option as Just me and click on Next button

Click on Next button

Installation is on progress

Blue Prism installation completed.

Now able to see Blue prism icon desktop -To complete next installation Double click on Blue prism

Click on OK button

Click on configure and provide the details as below

Now click on Test Connection button for the confirmation

Now click on OK button on error window

Now click on OK button .Note: Don’t click on cancel button

Click on OK button on error window

Create new Database

Without making any changes click on OK button

Database created successfully

Once clicking on OK button, next click on configure option and then click on Test connection button
to cross check database connection.

Click on OK button and able to see below screen .Enter default user name and password as admin &
admin

Click on Sign in button and change the password

Provide new password details and click on Finish button

Click on OK button then able to see Blue Prism screen as below

To make Tabs as Enable install license file

To add license file click on System Tab and then click on license option

Click on install new License option and select your Blue Prism license file and then you will be able to
see all tabs got enabled as below.
