Introduction
I would like to upgrade my qualification and B. Eng. (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering career
awarded by De Montfort University (UK) which would help me to achieve my aspirations and I am
certain that an education from this international institution from De Montfort University will provide
me with the right opportunity to achieve my academic and career goals.

My Academic Background:
I completed my Ordinary Level in 2008 from Christ King College and in 2012 I completed Advanced
Level from Christ King College. After completion of my Advanced Level I wanted to pursue my further
studies in Electronic & Telecommunication. Then in the year 2014, I had applied for Electrical-
Electronic & Communication Engineering at Institute of Engineering Technology. I have completed
the course in 2018.However, I got my transcripts and Diploma in 2019 Subsequently,One of my
Friend had started a degree in Auston Campus-Colombo & I searched on Internet about it and I found
that the program B.Eng. (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering awarded by De Montfort
University(UK) is the best option for me.

Education is a big part of our life, and I wanted to choose a college which is reputed as well as where

in education for students.
Reason to choose this course:
As I have completed NDES (National Diploma in engineering Sciences) and now I would like to
upgrade my Engineering skills and knowledge by doing this course from De Monfort University (UK).
I recognize that without the solid understanding of technical concepts of Engineering, I am not going
to achieve my career goals. It is my vision, mission and goal to become a professional in Engineering.
It is for this reason that I have decided to pursue B.Eng. (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering
from De Monfort University (UK).My previous qualification would help me to do this course. The
course awarded by De Montfort University is also going to benefit my future education and career.
There are a lot of career opportunities and my international qualification is necessary for my career
development.
Future Planning:
My aim in life is to establish myself as a successful Engineer who can grow with excellence in work.
This course will improve my performance, and career aspects in life. I will become a professional who
is ready to compete, succeed and lead in today’s competitive world.So this is how studying the
programme B. Eng (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering would be very helpful for my career so
from the core of my heart I wish to pursue this course.
