    AN ACT CONCERNING AID IN DYING FOR TERMINALLY ILL


    PATIENTS.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General


    Assembly convened:

    1 That the general statutes be amended to allow a physician to


    2 dispense or prescribe medication at the request of a mentally
    3 competent patient that has a terminal illness to seek an appropriate
    4 means of ending their lives.

    Statement of Purpose:
    To provide aid in dying to terminally ill patients.
