Create Your Biography

Instructions: First, choose a historical Figure from the List of Historical Figures. Then, begin
researching your historical figure using the Chromebooks. Two websites to pay special attention
to:
1. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
2. Museum of Tolerance
3. The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust
Answer the following questions about your historical figure. Then, create a 1-slide presentation
on the collaborative classroom Google Slides Timeline Presentation shared with you. Be sure to
add your figure to the appropriate year. You will present these biographies to the class on
Thursday, April 11th.

 Create Your Story
Instructions:​ Now that you have completed your biography of a historical figure
associated with the Holocaust, you will put yourself into that figure’s shoes and create a
story that will build upon what you have learned. There are five requirements for this
writing assignment:
1. Use at least five vocabulary words ​        
2. One-page Minimum, double-spaced ​        
3. Include information from your biography ​        
4. Must be at least a page long ​        
5. Please keep in mind this is a serious topic. Be mindful of the lives lost and the
memory of your historical figure. If you have any questions about this, please let
me know. I am always there to support you! ​        
You have full creative license with your story outside of these requirements. Be as
creative as you would like. Write your Story in a Google Doc and share it with Mr.
Sanchez. ​        
Choose your vocabulary words.​ Don’t worry, you can change these at any time to
best fit your story. This is just to get you started.
