By way of marriage, a man and a woman enter a joint life acting, living and
working as one. The husband and the wife become one single moral, spiritual
and social being, not only for the purpose of procreation, but also for the purpose
of mutual help and protection physically, morally and materially. In a bid to
reach its member-employee family goals. The Labor Cooperative will launch its
civil wedding program “Kasalan” which will grant a huge favor to our members
for them to have the chance to be legally united after years of knowing each other
or those living in common law relation. We will be giving them the opportunity
to seize the moment of saying each other’s vows, to get married, and to enjoy
their wedding day.
I. Registration Process
1.) The member shall register to their respective Labor Service Satellite Offices.
2.) The member shall accomplish the following forms;
a.) Registration form.
b.) Requirements form.
3.) The member should submit the duly accomplished forms to the Member
Development Officer in their Satellite Offices.
4.) The application fee for marriage license shall be shouldered by the
cooperative.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
The marriage license shall be issued only if the 10-day posting period is
completed, and all applicable requirements comply with both applicants
can apply at least 12 days prior to the scheduled wedding date.
5.) The members/participants shall also be receiving a sponsored meal for the
couple.
6.) The participating couple shall be responsible for providing their own
wedding rings.

September
a.) 1st week to 2nd week Finalizing the Mechanics
b.) 3rd week of September presentation to the PGM of the Labor
Service Cooperative for approval.
c.) 4th week identifying partnerships namely the (LGU and local
civil registrar.
October to be done by Member Benefits Specialist
a.) 2nd week registration period
b.) 3rd week for 4th week gathering of the requirements of the
couples. (To be done by the couples)
November to December
a.) Implementation in Region 11 and North Mindanao
