CATHOLIC CARE APPEAL 2019 The Annual Appeal for Catholic Care will take place over this
weekend. The Charity undertakes so much good work, caring for those who are disadvantaged and
marginalised, including those with disabilities, babies, children and families, older people including
the retired priests, and much work reaching out into the community. These are financially
challenging times, especially for our community work. Please give as generously as you are able.

DAY OF RECONCILIATION AT LEEDS CATHEDRAL: Thursday 11th April 2019 from 7 am- 7pm. See
poster for more details.

DIOCESAN CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION: Sunday 19th May 2019 from 3 pm round the grounds of
Mount St Joseph’s and Hinsley Hall, Leeds.

LENTEN LUNCH We will hold a lunch on Tuesday 2nd April from 12.00 – 1.30. Please come and join
fellow parishioners and hopefully members from other churches in the area for a Lenten
Reflection, followed by a bowl of soup and a social gathering. All welcome.

SPUC we will recite the Holy Rosary on the 1st Wednesday of every month in support of The
Society for the Protection of The Unborn Child. 9.40 a.m start.

THE WOMEN’S GROUP Have kindly donated £60 towards the garden. This is very gratefully
received and will finance some more planters/plants. Thank you.

EASTER SERVICES There is a list at the back of church asking for readers, Eucharistic Ministers,
(feet to be washed please). Please try and support our liturgies at this most sacred time.
