internet usage statistics
When I prepare this presentation, I feel very surprise that Asia
Pacific region will boast of over 2062 million Internet users, the
largest online population compared to any other region in the
world. That number is approximately six times more than that of
North America
The figure, in contrast, surprises in the light of the fact that, North
America tops the rankings of countries by internet penetration at
95% , while Asia register internet penetration levels at 49%, below
the global average of 55,1%. Do you know why? Because Half the
world’s population will be Asia that decrease internet penetration
Look at the chart you can see, developed economies like Western
Europe and North America, almost everyone is already connected
to the World Wide Web and Regions like Africa, Middle East, Asia-
Pacific, internet access is relatively low.
This result is also similar to The Asian countries with The chart is
devided two part clearly. developed countries like Korea,
Japan,Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan and Malaysia all have
internet penetration levels over 50%, whilet more than half of the
countries in Asia-Pacific register internet penetration levels below
50%. Korea has the highest levels of internet penetration at 77%,
closely followed by Japan with 76%. The internet penetration of
Vietnam currently stands at just 26 percent and, when you make
a comparison with other Asia-Pac countries, this number looks
even worst.

Because Internet user in Vietnam has grown by average of 3%

year-on-year, low of the global average of 7%. So VN í a good
market for developing internet
