WALLS UP

CREATING AND DESIGNING 3D WALLS

SITUATION
•  Now that you have the floor plan of your Uncle’s new
home, it’s time to translate the 2D plan into a 3D
model.
•  This will help you to better the potential of the space
in terms of interior design, furniture layout, and other
architectural features.
TARGETS
OBJECTIVE:
•  Learn about walls – their purpose, types, and different
materials or finishes

SKILLS
•  Create walls for enclosure and partition
•  Group different rooms within the condominium unit
“A building is a shelter from rain, sun, and wind.
This implies a roof, and walls to support it.
If the walls entirely enclose the space within,
there are doorways for access and windows for light.
Roofs and walls, doors and windows are the essential
features of a building.”

–William Robert Ware
