1 Preprocessing
server (PPS)
To be installed locally, its main task
is to process streams coming from
IP video surveillance cameras, to
find people in the video and track
them, to form face photo images
(face rects), to filter them by quality
and forward for further
identification.
The preprocessing server, being a
part of ORBL platform, is highly
effective and is not demanding
about the hardware.
Another task for the preprocessing
server is to optimize network load.
With the server input network load,
depending on camera’s settings,
reaching 4-16 Mbit per second per
stream, the output network load is
just 3-100 Kbytes per person.

The platform architecture is
designed in a way that data can be
collected even in the locations only
with mobile internet, no need in
broadband internet ccess for that.
2 Business-logic
server (BLS)
This is a highly effective optimized
back-end /front-end server, with
the tasks to: execute all user
requests in API, forward requests
from preprocessing servers
in IDXS, process responses from
IDXS in accordance with user
settings, store data.
Business-logic server is
responsible for ready data, which
are received by a system user. All
user interaction takes place exactly
with this server.

3 Identification
server/servers (IDXS)
Consists of two main subsystems -
a neural network one and a k-d
tree type database. The neural
network subsystem delivers a
pattern for less than 0,1 second, a
database search takes less than
0,3 second, regardless of number
of records.
The pattern which is used by IDXS
to operate internally, is one of the
smallest in the industry.
The above-mentioned speed is
valid if the subsystem is installed
on a server supplied with Intel Core
i5/i7 of the last three generations
with minimum of 2,6 Ghz clock
frequency.

on one or many, depending on requirements.
