Jeff Baty

Gr. 7-12

I have completed this as both a template for my school to follow,

as well as for others to look to as an exemplar of what a
completed Living School Discussion Chart could look like in
their own building. The hardest thing to do, as I learned through
this Genius Hour project undertaken as part of my graduate
training with Dr. O'Brien in EDUC 6103 is going from a blank
slate to something believable. Something that can reasonably
jump from awareness to action. Awareness is wonderful, but if
we cannot get to the action level, be it as a Living Classroom, or
the broader idea of a Living School, then real change and by
extension real progress is rendered limited.
