PROJECT SUMMARY NASTAD requests proposals from vendors that specialize in developing Salesforce databases for non-profit use. We seek to use Salesforce as the central repository of our constituent information to obtain a 360 degree view of our members and programming while gaining efficiency in program and constituent management. NASTAD is in need of immediate support on a few projects. After these issues have been addressed, NASTAD hopes to enter into an ongoing support agreement with the selected vendor. Immediate Needs
Updating and revising technical assistance, federal awards, and business
development tracking processes. Reviewing and implementing outstanding updates to Salesforce. Reconciling duplicates in database. Researching and testing apps to add additional capabilities, such as Outlook integration, creating folders, and managing vendors. Researching and proposing options for email marketing systems. Building new reports. Training NASTAD staff on how to effectively use Salesforce. Ongoing Support Apply updates to Salesforce as they are released. Trouble-shoot any bugs or errors in the system. Support NASTAD staff in pulling information from Salesforce. Help research options for how Salesforce can be used to address new issues as they arise for the organization. BUDGET The budget to kick-off this project and address NASTAD’s immediate needs is $15,000. After, NASTAD will work with the vendor to determine the organization’s ongoing support needs and will set a monthly budget for support.
