18 A. Emerald Ash Borer
t9 Sinadinoski said that most of the ash trees in Milton are relatively young. Sinadinoski said that there
2{3 are, however, many ash trees in the town. Sinadinoski said that the tree warden helped to determine
2'L which trees would be potentially treatable and which should be removed. Sinadinoski said an
:2 informational discussion with the public is being planned.

21" Gaherty said that it still may be several years before our public ash trees become infected with EAB.
25 Gaherty said that a place for disposal of removed ash trees should be determined.

27 B. Trail Trouble Report Form
28 The Conservation Commission suggested edits for the trail report form and will continue to

32 The Conservation Commission offered a few edits and Sinadinoski said will return with additional

3ti Sinadinoski said that Green Up Day is May 4,2019 and that the budget for Green Up Day will remain

6 E. Trails Use Survey
7 Sinadinoski said that a high percentage of Milton residents who completed the survey took
I advantage of the trails. Sinadinoski reported that the majority of responses showed that walking and
I hiking were the main uses of the trails. Sinadinoski said that 50% of people surveyed had never been
10 to the Lamoille River Walk.

12 DiCesare said that this may be due to the difficulty in finding the entrance.

14 Pease said that a kiosk has been installed by the bridge to help direct people. Pease said that the
15 entrance by Checkerberry is not labeled at all for parking.

17 Sinadinoski reported that some of those surveyed were disappointed that dogs were walking on the
18 trails without their leashes.

2t) Gaherty suggested installing a sign that prohibits dogs without leashes on the trails.

:2 Sinadinoski reported that citizens were also concerned about hunting. Sinadinoski said that the
13 residents of Milton want a bike path.

:6 The Conservation Commission expressed interested in doing a snow shoe for Winter Fest or a hike if
