18 A. Budget Request Update for FY20
lq Sinadinoski said that he is requesting a higher budget for the Conservation Commission to assist the
20 Commission with trail maintenance, tools, and other anticipated costs.

?2 B. Phase 2Truil Construction at Town Forest
23 Gaherty said that it would be beneficial to have Josh Ryan from Timber & Stone come and do a high-
34 level trail cost estimate for Phase 2.

26 Sinadinoski said that he is waiting to hear back from Josh to schedule a meeting time.

29 Sinadinoski said that Michael Burris, Development Review Planner, revised the brochure's map. The.

32 The Conservation Comrnission suggested several edits. Planning staff will make suggested edits and-
33 bring back the revised map at the next meeting.

35 D. Emerald Ash Borer
36 Gaherty said he read a news article stating that traces of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) have been
37 spotted in Grand Isle County. Gaherty suggested coordinating with the Tree Warden and developing
3S steps for the public to take if the Emerald Ash Borer is spotted.

1 The Conservation Commission agreed that they could assume the role of hosting public
2 informational sessions on identifying EAB.

1 Sinadinoski said that he will reach out to appropriate contacts in order to organize such a meeting.

7 Kinner said that the people who showed up were excited about the trails and that brochures

11 DiCesare said that this site could potentially be used as a new location for recreation and
I? conservation activities in the future. DiCesare said that it may be beneficial for the Town to acquire
13 some of the surrounding wetlands if properties become available for sale.

16 Kinner said that trees were being marked with pink ribbons on Town property and suggested that
the situation should be looked into.

19 Sinadinoski said that there had been a conversation about tapping maple trees and said that he
-at I would figure out if this is connected to that.
