        TRINOX OX 
 
Characterization: 
Trinox OX, a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant, is highly effective, non 
discolouring stabilizer to prevent deterioration of ingredients sensitive to 
oxidation, like perfumes, natural oils, fatty acids, toilet soaps and the like. It 
protects rinse‐off products as well as leave on formulations efficiently against 
thermo‐oxidative degradation. (e.g rancidification and colour changes)

Features/Benefits: 
Trinox OX is especially suited to protect product properties such as fragrance, 
colour, viscosity etc from auto‐oxidation/degradation. 
 
Trinox OX can be applied in cleansing compositions, such as bar soaps(fatty 
soaps as well as syndets) and liquid soaps. Also it’s use is recommended in 
other rinse‐off products for personal care, such as shampoos and shaving 
creams, for example to stabilize the fragrance. 
 
Trinox OX is non‐discoloring, has good compatibility in soap‐type formulations 
as well as aqueous formulations and is of low volatility. It is odourless & 
tasteless.

Guideline for use: 
Dosage level of 0.04 to 0.1% of Trinox OX provide long term stability to 
personal care formulations. Optimal incorporation levels depends on 
formulation, processing conditions and long term stability requirements. 
Therefore optimum levels have to be determined specifically for the envisaged 
applications. It is recommended to add Trinox OX via a lipophilic phase, for 
example fragrance, oils and emulsifiers. 
 
Handling and Safety: 
In accordance with good industrial practice, handle with care and prevent 
contamination of the environment. Avoid dust formation and ignition sources.
