members of St. John's will share
their faith journey and how it has shaped
their relationship with Jesus Christ.
During this time of Lent, we are all
encouraged to reflect on our Christian
journey as well!

APRIL/MAY = SEWING KITS
provide fabric and thread for vocational
training programs to teach young men and
women useful, marketable skills, and for
newly trained tailors to launch their sewing
businesses. Each kit requires:
2 spools of neutral colored thread
2 pieces of cotton fabric (no polyester).
Each piece should be: 2 ¼ yds of 60”;
3 yds of 44”; or
4 yds of 36” wide fabric
Wrap one piece of fabric and the thread in the
remaining piece and secure with rubber bands
or yarn. Look for the washtub in the west
hallway for your donations.

youth to Carol Joy Holling Camp this summer!
You can attend for just $50, with the remainder
of registration fees picked up by St. John’s
Benefaction funds.
Simply register your child online at
caroljoyholling.org and (at check out), select
“Pay By Check”. Then pay a $50 non-refundable
deposit to St. John’s Camps & Retreats fund,
who will then pick up the total registration.
Camp brochures can be found at the back of the
sanctuary and in the west hallway.
EASTER LILIES
Easter Sunday is April 21.
To order a lily for the
St. John’s altar area, include
your check for $15 in your
envelope marked “lily”. After the Easter service
of your choice, please feel free to take your lily
home. Thank you in advance for helping us
decorate the altar for Easter Sunday!
