II. Time Context: Handling different jobs for the first time.
III. Case Facts:
Mr. Oscar Pascua hired his niece Ofelia to help him manage his construction
business.
Milagros borrowed Ofelia for a while for her entertainment business.
Ofelia found out that there are many things she could attend to.
Difficulty to determine employee performance.
The employees are not too eager to accomplish them.
IV. Problem Statement: Ofelia work for two different Jobs with different organizational
behavior and used the same approach to determine the employee’s performance, but it
shows low participation of the entertainment business employees to accomplish the task,
and leads for her to become angry.
V. Objective: To improve the organizational behavior of the entertainment business through
the proper use of decision making approaches.

VII. Recommendation: We recommend the first alternative course of action which is the
Rational decision – making approach
VIII. Conclusion: We chose the rational decision making approach as a course of action because
based on the listed advantages, it follows a step by step process to avoid conflicts on the
decision making process. We also weighed the given advantages as well as the
disadvantages for the both alternative courses of action which makes the rational decision
making approach more effective despite having a lot of disadvantages that is just simply
common to any decision making approach.
