Abstract.

All human beings are born with communication skills and abilities that we

develop in stages, according to our chronological age. The writing is learned in the

first school years, however it is full of many orthographic and grammatical rules

considering that it is easier than in other countries reason why the students do not

manage to assimilate and in this way there is an abstract knowledge of what really

the student must learn which prevents that later they develop the necessary skills to

communicate by this means, since norms and orthographic rules were established

that they do not know how to use them and the reason is that they generally get

confused at the moment of expression their ideas in their writings.

In the first years of primary school, writing constitutes the fundamental tool in

initial literacy that is developed through the expected competencies and learning

outcomes in basic education. This research work is a proposal of an activities

workshop which involves third grade students from Professor. Claudio Cortés Castro

primary school, where some problems regarding the use and application of written

language, this was determined through the results of some evaluation instruments

such as: written texts, notebooks check, as well as some individual exercises that

they were applied to them. in general, taking into account these results, from the

whole group, twelve students were chosen from 28 participants. These twelve

students will participate in a creative writing workshop, which includes a series of

activities based on interesting topic, since it is difficult for them to express their ideas

in a piece of paper fluently and accuracy in comparison to their classmates.

The present workshop aims to develop the pleasure for writing in the

classroom and outside it. Applying strategies that support a didactic proposal to train

competent writers, capable of practicing writing outside the educational field and they

will be able to develop this ability to write; both inside and outside the classroom. In

addition, it also explains what creative writing is, and the importance of encouraging

creativity in the classroom as part of improving written texts. Some cards were

selected from the Spanish file (SEP 1994) in order to improve writing skill, these

cards have the objective to make students work with writings as part of the daily

activities they have to do focused on developing the interest in writing their own texts;

from creative activities, providing them the freedom to express their own ideas, as

well as promoting the pleasure of writing, improving linguistic competence and

developing social, emotional and cognitive skills as a basis for the student's learning.
