PURPOSE:

The following pages of block diagrams provide a quick and efficient way of finding the
varied and sometimes hard to locate interconnections between system boards, cable connections and controls
of the image system.

IMS 2760 DIGITAL IMAGE SYSTEM WITH DYNAMIC IMAGE STORAGE

The I M S 2760 image System was released for operation M a r c h 28,1996 w i t h software IMS2760_01a
Software revision IMS2760_01a w i l l perform all basic Fluoroscopic operations, hard copy images, Image
Processing, Real Time Edge Enhancement, and Cholangiogram 2F/Sec, D S A Digital Subtracted Vascular
image operations w i t h Dynamic Image acquisitions at 4F/Sec.

- IMS2760 image system comes standard w i t h 16 frame storage.

- Optional expanded digital package w i t h 320 image storage, Image Processing Cholangiogram 2 F/Sec.

- Optional vascular image package w i t h D S A , Cine 4 f/s and extended image store of > than 500 images as
special order.

- Optional 30 f/sec and added features requiring special hardware was released i n October of 1996 version
IMS2760 _04. N o change to video harness was needed. M a x i m u m image capacity 1600 cine 1100 Patient

- A s of this date release is IMS27600_04a and IMS2760_O6B dated 9/17/1997 and

The new software Ver._06B requires a change i n the RDC2000 board and UPS2000 board to
w o r k properly. Therefore it is not to be used on older systems w i t h out hardware upgrade.
The new software can only be used w i t h systems having the RDC2000 board or Full VTM
module.
The features of the new software are outlined i n the user manual.
The new software supports D I C O M 3 interface, Digital Document Rotation, Image M i r r o r ,
V C R , and other functions.
Due to the fact the system can support the D I C O M 3 or V C R the V C I board and video harness
have changed for this purpose.

Software Version IMS2760_01a requires the Video C - A r m Interface (VCI2000) board #40-201-D10
and the VH2000 V i d e o Harness assembly # 40-620-D10 and new Keyboard Overlay # 40-601-D10 to
40 -603-D10.

Software Version > IMS2760_06B requires a new Video C - A r m Interface and V i d e o Harness.
The VCI2000 V C R part number is 40 352-A10. This board is compatible with all Exposcop 7000 &
EVIS2760 systems i n the field. However you must have the software version Ims2760004a or higher
to use the V C R mode of operation.

The VCI2000 V C R board is used in all systems however some of the functions w i l l only be used if the
system is equipped with a V C R . Therefore only part of the description in the following sections will
apply with system configurations not equipped with the V C R option.
