BUILT-UP TYPE

Custom Product

Features of Built-Up Air Handling Unit

1. Casing Panel
The forming machine-created panel is minutely assembled on a fully automatic line, and the optimized
sized panels are sequentially assembled to guarantee convenient maintenance and efficient space use.

2. Damper
The damper with the air leakage rate of less than 2% under the 100mmAq of pressure with the closed
door uses the gear type to adjust the air volume control perfectly. The damper is especially ideal for
outside air control or protection.

3. Mixing Box
The box mixes RA and OA in one chamber, adjusting the air circulation amount and offering ease of use.

4. Sound Attenuator
The Built-in square shaped device is used to reduce noise and air waves and runs with the best efficiency
at 250~1200Hz frequency installed in the built-up unit.

5. Cooling Coil and Heating Coil

The coils are made with a 99.9% copper pipe and the copper pipe and the aluminum fin are closely
attached to maximize the efficiciency.

6. Fan and Drive Motor

This is a high performance, low noise air foil type fan, certified AMCA and DIN which delivers high
efficiency and energy savings. The axial fan can be used for better space use.

19
DX TYPE

Features of DX(Direct Expansion) Type Air Handling Unit

This type of air handling unit is to deliver customized air handling units with improved technical features,
coming in a variety of models to reduce the sound and boost the efficiency so that precision temperature and
humidity operation is possible and the assembly and repair are easily done.

Mixing Part: Special zinc coated steel panel, strong dust collecting filter and sophisticated gear type
damper system
Coil Part (DX-Type): A 99.8% copper pipe and aluminum cross fin type coil closely attached by a special
expansion device for improved energy efficiency
Blower Part: Double suction fans delivering maximum air volume at minimum rpm and minimized vibrations
and noise due to detailed balancing.
The module type is easy for assembly and guarantees semi-permanent lifetime.
A built-in controller ensures the round-the-clock performance for constant temperature and humidity
maintenance.
The cooling uses the direct expansion coil, with which the step-by-step control is possible so that the room
temperature remains constant and the electricity usage is minimzed.
The heating uses the electric coil or steam and runs on multiple levels depending on the workload within a
room.
A variety of humidifiers combined with dehumidification on the cooling part maintain the constant humidity
in the room.

Features of DDC Type Air Handling Unit

This equipment has the local type controller (D.D.C. type) attached to the standard air handling unit and uses the
touch screen type for better ease of use.
The unit can be connected to a PC for central control, or the self control is possible.
The economic benefits would come when a small number of air handling units are installed with the building
control system in a small or medium sized building.

Control Features
1. Fan operation and suspension control
- The fan runs or stops at the signal of the central controller or the DDC controller.
- The Smoke detector built in the suction duct controls the suspension of supply and return fans.
2. Valve control
- The tempertature detector built in the duct detects the temperature, compares the temperature with the one in
the cooling and heating parts control valves, and keeps the room temperature constant.
- The humidity detector built in the suction duct detects the temperature to control the humidity sensor valve (HSV).
3. Damper control
- The damper built in the air suction duct compares the warming up and control sequences.
