CINEMA 2000 BLOCK SCREENING GUIDELINES

No Co-Branding

 No brand association of the block screening’s sponsoring entity/entities with the movie.
All third-party sponsor(s) are subject to Cinema Management’s approval.

 Organizers and/or sponsors are not allowed to announce or use collaterals that would
connote ownership of the movie. These include the use of words/phrases such as
“brought to you by,” “sponsored by,” “presented by,” and etc.

 We do not allow sin products (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) and medicine/pharmaceutical


companies as sponsors.

 Organizers and/or sponsors are not allowed to produce any item(s) and/or collateral
material that contain movie copyrights (logo, images, etc.) without the approval of
Cinema Management.

 Should the organizers wish to produce publicity materials and/or collaterals in


connection to the blocked screening, it should be submitted to Cinema Management’s
Marketing Department for approval before production and execution. Approval will
take at least five (5) working days.

 No printing of own tickets. In observance to the first and second paragraph, invitations
and other collaterals may only mention the ff:

(Name of org) invites you to a special/block screening of (title of movie) on (date) at


(time), (screen #), (cinema).

Organizers must furnish Cinema Management a copy of the layout for approval prior
printing.

Clean Cinema Policy

 There shall be no marketing activity within the venue during the entire run of the film.
This includes distribution of flyers, product sampling, product demos, etc.

 Nothing may be displayed outside the cinema other than a registration table or its
equivalent. Approved collaterals of sponsors (standees, banners, etc.) may only be

displayed inside the cinema. There are cinema branches that would require the client to
source out their own materials including tables and chairs for registration. Please advise
the Marketing Department first on your plans to see if the materials needed are
available for use. No merchandising and wet sampling allowed.

 Client will be asked to give a complete inventory of the items/equipment that will be
brought in the cinema during the booked event for the furnishing of the gate
pass/permit. The list should be submitted at least 3 days before the event as the permit
will have to be signed by the mall administration.

 Sponsors may air their audio jingle or video inside the cinema provided that the material
is in a format that is compatible with the cinema projector. Advisable setup is to have
the material saved in a laptop with an HDMI port. Client is also advised to bring an HDMI
cord along with the laptop. It is best that the material be tested days earlier to ensure
that it is working. Please advise the cinema first on your planned testing date in order to
see the cinema schedule availability. Only a maximum of up to 10 minutes program time
will be allowed before the start of the movie.

 FOR 3D MOVIE BOOKINGS: Client will be charged 5,000 security bond for the 3D
glasses. Should the damage/lost incurred during the blocked screening exceed the
charged bond, client will be held liable to pay the corresponding charges.

Food and Drinks

 Food and beverages from the cinema Snack Bar are highly recommended. Pre-orders
may be made through the Marketing Department and the Cinema Management. The
cinema personnel will facilitate the serving of the food and drinks.

 Should the organizer choose the services of other food companies, only the services of
the tenants within the mall are allowed.

 No messy food (rice meals, pasta, soups, sauces, etc.) allowed. The menu should be
submitted to the Marketing Department one week before the event for approval.

 Drinks should be bottled, canned, or served in cups with covers.

 Fireworks/firecrackers

 Weaponry

 Sin products (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.)

 Program is limited to 10 minutes only before the movie. Should the organizer require a
longer time, it will be considered part of a venue rental and will be subject to additional
charges.

 The use of cameras and other similar equipment during the movie is not allowed. These
may be left with the cinema personnel for safekeeping.

 No sharing of seats. Only one person is allowed per seat.

Others:

 All block screenings are subject to the availability of the movie.

 Date and time of block screening is subject to change and confirmation by Management.

 Cinema shall provide the standard cinema amenities such as on-hand cinema lights,
existing sound system and air conditioning on the date and time indicated in the
agreement.

 The Cinema has a PA system and an LCD projector available upon request (for certain
cinemas only). The rent will be subject to additional charges.

 All other technical requirements other than previously stated should be provided by the
organizer upon consent from Cinema Management.

 Should the organizer require a more elaborate technical set-up for their activities (ie.
Parlights, follow-spots, mobile and etc.), the corresponding additional electricity charges
shall be charged to their account.

ADMISSION:

• ALL guests who entered and stayed inside the cinema during the blocked screening including
the organizers are considered as paying customers. Children with ages below 1 year old are also
counted as 1 ticket.

• STRICYLY maximum seating capacity will be followed. Should the number of patrons inside the
cinema exceed the maximum cinema seating capacity, client will be asked to pay the
corresponding charges per extra ticket/seat.

PAYMENT:
• Mode of payment is only in cash or check. Down payment (30% of Grand Total) should be
settled at least two weeks (2) before the event. Full payment should be settled at least seven
(7) banking days before the event.
