Introduction of the Guest of Honor and Speaker

Our benevolent and warmhearted Municipal Mayor, Honorable Simplicio L.

Rosario, the beautiful and ever supportive wife of our Mayor, Madame Lorna Grace
Rosario, our energetic Municipal Vice Mayor, Honorable Edgar C. Mamenta,
Distinguish Sangguniang Bayan Members, our diligent Municipal Administrator,
Retired Police Senior Inspector Diomedes Bonalos, our untiring Executive
Committee Chairman, Mr. Lito Sajonas, and all the members of the Executive
Committee of the 429th Foundation Day and Anniversary Celebration of the
Municipality of Binmaley, the chairperson of the 2019 Commemorative Program,
Madame May Annelle Perez and the other members of the Commemorative
Program, beloved guests, our succinct and articulate Masters of Ceremonies, Mr.
Jaime Soriano and Mrs. Joyce Ann Canilang, my fellow hardworking public servants,
dear Binmalenians, all balikbayans who are with us in this year’s festivities, friends,
ladies and gentlemen, Good morning!

I stand before you today with so much pride and the position that I hold esteem of
introducing our guest of honor and speaker is such a daunting and challenging task.
I am elated and frenetic or excited at the same time. When Madame Annelle asked
me if I can introduce our guest of honor and speaker, at first I was hesitant because
I don’t know if I can give justice to it. But when she said that they were looking for
someone who knows very well about the guest of honor and speaker, I finally
succumbed to the challenge even though I thought that I will immerse in putting
the words, the ideas, the narratives, the stories to come up with such an orotund
or superb introduction because our guest of honor and speaker only deserves
nothing but the best.

Our guest of honor and speaker originally hails from McKinley, Binmaley but
currently resides in Los Baños, Laguna. He is the son of Mr. Silverio Evangelista and
Emiliana Evangelista (both deceased), and he is the fifth child in a family of seven.
He is married to Josephine Evangelista. They have a daughter and her name is
Yzabelle Evangelista.
He was my classmate and our class salutatorian at the Binmaley North Elementary
School in 1983. He went to the Binmaley Catholic High School in his secondary
years and was the Corp Commander and the third honorable mention of our batch
in 1987. He obtained his College Degree at the Mapua Institute of Technology in
1991 with the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication
Engineering. But because there is that driving force in him to serve the people and
the nation, he took his other College Degree at the Philippine National Police
Academy with the Degree in Bachelor of Science in Public Safety in 1994 and was
one of the finest diamonds of his batch. He obtained his graduate studies at the
Philippine School of Business Administration for his Master in Business
Administration or MBA in 2005. He did a lot of sharpenings that is, he underwent
to many mandatory career courses and special trainings such as PS Officers Senior
Executive Course, PS Advance Course, Comptrollership Officers course, Logistics
Management Course, and Finance Officers Course to name a few, and the list goes
on and on and on. One hour is not even enough if I mention them all. He passed
the NAPOLCOM Inspector Exam in October of 1992 and the Napolcom
Superintendent Exam in 1996.
He has had a countless of major accolades and awards under his belt receiving
Medalya ng Kasanayan, Medalya ng Papuri, and Medalya ng Paglilingkod from
various Police Heads, from present and past, namely Police Chief Superintendent
Carranza, Police Director General Dela Rosa, Police Chief Superintendent MAYOR,
Police Chief Superintendent Peña, Police Director General Purisima, among others.
His greatest gargantuan achievement is his assignment or designation as Acting
Provincial Director, Province of Rizal effective January 8, 2019. He held a number
of remarkable assignments or designations prior to this appointment. I am eliciting
everyone’s support and prayer that our Divine almighty will grant him the strength
and the guidance that he needs to go on with this enormous responsibility for the
Glory of God through Justice, Integrity and Service in providing responsive public
safety, officers trusted and respected by the people.

Our guest of honor and speaker is a good friend, he is a man of valor, a man of
character, a man of reputation, a man who I have so much respect and adulation. I
am orgulous and proud of his many achievements.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct honor and privilege to introduce to you our
guest of honor and speaker for our 429th Foundation Day and Anniversary
Celebration here in the Municipality of Binmaley, Police Senior Superintendent Lou
Frias Evangelista, let us give him a big round of applause.
