Labuan International School (LIS) Scouts Camp

The Cubs and Scouts of Labuan International School (LIS) had three amazingly fun-filled days from 15-17
July 2016. The 22 participants had a great learning experience where they displayed great enthusiasm
participating in activities that included camp crafts, hiking, survival cooking and banana-boat riding.
The Principal - Puan Zainab Batin’s closing speech was read out by Puan Jeveeta Kaur Injiksin - Primary
Level Coordinator of LIS . The Principal congratulated and thanked the LIS Scouts Leaders for their
commitment and dedication in successfully implementing this Camp with zero-incident. She also
congratulated the Scouts for their great involvement and look forward to their continued participation
in more Scouting activities living up to the saying “Once A Scout, Always A Scout” The Labuan FT Chief
State Scout Commissioner, Mr. Hong Heng Chee gave away the prizes to the Best Scouts in their
respective categories. The recipients for the best Scouts awards are:

1. Best Cub Scout : Anjana Natalie Menon

2. Best Junior Scout : Carolyn Tan Hui Xuan
