Abortion

Abortion has been a controversial topic for longer than I was born. I have always

believed in people having the choice to abort if they choose. There are many circumstances in

life that may cause the women that are pregnant with the baby to abort like being too young

and wanting to go to college or becoming pregnant with a stranger’s child. They make this

choice for their well-being and believe that it is best to abort than raise a child they don’t want

or can’t take care of. However, I also believe it is difficult for someone to take the life of a child

they haven’t even seen yet and never got to live their life like everyone else.

Abortion is a topic that is talked about daily. I feel that abortion could be pro-life or pro-

choice. People do believe that women shouldn’t have the right to abort a child because it’s

another person’s life and some believe they should be able to abort if they can’t take care of

child and give them a good life or if it’s a reminder of something bad in their lives. Before doing

the research, I believed in pro-choice because of the world today and many circumstances can

come into play. I think that abortion should never become illegal because people will always

have different opinions and it may hurt the child’s life either choice they make. I believe that it

won’t ever become illegal because it would cause a lot of trouble in the country. I believe that

with leaving the abortion laws the way they are now are the best bet at keeping peace over

choosing pro-life or pro-choice. What I already know about this topic is that there are two sides:

pro-life and pro-choice. The pro-life supporters believe that abortions should be illegal and that

abortion should not be allowed because it is taking a life away from the world. The pro-choice

supporters believe that people should have the choice to abort if they feel it may be worse to

have the child and give it a bad life or it may be bad for their mental and physical health.

I feel there is still a lot of more researching that needs to be done on this topic because

it is so controversial. I have many questions like if there might be a happy medium on abortion

that could be decided between both supporters. Also, if the women were not given the option

of abortion it may affect them psychologically under certain circumstances. Lastly, if Roe v.

Wade was reversed that could affect the developing nations decision on abortion. Overall,

abortion is a growing topic that someone can learn more and more about every day.
