1. To Remove: Disconnectthe negativebatterycable,draintheATF

out of unit,and removethe pan.
2. Removethe transmission
filter. Notelengthofbolts.
3. Removesolenoidwiringharnesscase plugfromcase. Removeten
(10)valvebodybolts,notingthe differentlengthbolts: 20mm,28mm
and 45mm.

9. Makesure theo-ring is still on the uppersurfaceofthe valve

body,at the placeshownin Figure1.
10. Reinstallthe valvebodyinto the transaxle,then insertthe
solenoidwiring harnesscaseplug intothecase. Be surethe
notchedpart ofthe connectoris in the properplace.Also,check
thatthe leadwire isn't caughtbetweencaseand valvebody.
11. Tightenthe ten (10)valvebodyboltsto 10 to 11.5Nm
(7.5t08.5ft.lbs.).
12. Installnewfilter,tightenfour boltsto 6 to 6.5 Nm (4 to 5 ft.
