Safety Configurator controls all design requi-
rements for Safe400 light curtains as well as
the configuration of the SafeC 400 safety
relay.

CEDES’ SafeC 200 and SafeC 400 safety relays exemplify the latest generation of technology,
in which numerous safety components can be controlled at the same time by one small machine.
The module is delivered ready for operation with a basic software program. CEDES’ Safety
Configurator Windows software quickly and easily adapts the safety module to your individual
requirements, ensuring the most effective configuration possible.

If the SafeC 200 or SafeC 400 factory settings don’t fit your unique application, you can easily
use the Safety Configurator software to personalize the settings to your requirements. Whether
safety light curtains, emergency stop buttons, muting lamps, two-hand switches or blanking –
Welcome window you can, using the help of the graphical user overview, easily configure which element you
Safety Configurator require connected to which output for your module. The ‘Safety Configurator’ comes with every
SafeC 200 or SafeC 400 safety relay delivered, and is also available free of charge at
www.cedes.com.

The Safety Configurator software partners with an optical interface, called OptiLink. Using these
two components together, an operator can easily implement a quick and straight-forward confi-
guration and monitor the status of the unit. The Safety Configurator is even capable of configu-
ring special functions such as floating- or static- blanking, and height measuring.
