the conspiracy against Caesar nevertheless, and was among the assassins on the field, Providentia standing left, leaning on column and holding sceptre, her

This coin, struck at Verulamium (Prae Wood, St Albans), shows clearly the fact that Celtic warriors wore CC236 Durotriges, Uninscribed, Billon Stater, 3.81g, derived from Westerham
chain-mail. A recent excavation nearby has found the grave of a high-ranking individual buried with his Stater, devolved Apollo head right, rev. disjointed horse left, large pellet below
chain-mail neatly folded as a cushion for his head, and can be seen in the Verulamium Museum.
