Media Advisory
Animal Aid USA announced that Stephanie Alberto had been hired as the fundraising
coordinator and social media manager and Alessia Mastrando has been hired as the website
developer and photographer.
Alberto’s responsibilities will include being in charge of the funds, planning events, and making
connections with local restaurants, halls, and donors. On top of running Animal Aid USA social
media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She will also create campaigns to
raise money for the organization and the many vet bills they acquire day in and day out.
Alberto will be based out of the comfort of her own home and will report to Karen Lasasso,
Animal Aid USA founder and Sarah Sacco, Volunteer and head of the fundraising team.
The native of Cherry Hill, NJ, has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations Communication from
Holy Family University in Philadelphia. Alberto completed an internship at Christine’s Garden
running social media accounts and internship at Corporate Source Catering planning events and
achieving budgets.
Mastrando’s responsibilities will include being in charge of maintaining and updating the
website along will taking photographs at events, arrivals, and on caravan trips. She will also
create advertisements with pictures for campaigns and fundraisers ran through Facebook. The
photographs will also be featured on the website so others can view them.
Mastrando will be traveling when going to the monthly caravan trips to Georgia, arrivals, and
events. She will report to Karen Lasasso, founder of Animal Aid USA and Kristia Adams,
Volunteer and head of the website developing team.
The native of Cherry Hill, NJ, has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Queens
University in North Carolina. Mastrando completed internships for marketing agencies where
she had to design content for various advertisements. She has written multiple blogs on many
