Girls: I have a dream… (sing)

Boys: What is your dream? Tell us! Tell us!

Solo: I have a dream. I have a dream that one day in Malaysia, with its multicultural society,
one day right here in Malaysia, young men and women in our country will be free of drugs!
(Martin Luther king’s speech)

All: Good morning, teachers and fellow friends. We would like to present to you… DRUGS ISN’T
COOL AT ALL.

All: Join us on the journey of reality.

Girls: Yup, some might say reality hurts (ouch)

Solo: It’s true!

Boys: What’s true?

All: well, please bear with us till the end because it is the Malaysian reality.

Boys: Malaysian reality? What do you mean?

All: Ladies and gentleman, it feels extremely great to see people of all walks of life,

Solo: It’s cool. Don’t you think so? (mmm…)

Solo: Everybody else is doing it. I want to fit in.

Solo: I saw it on television

Solo: Well, I saw it in a movie.

Solo: (Argh) My life is stressful. Drugs help me cope.

Solo: I am not addicted. I can stop at any time.

All: My fellow friends, when you first start taking a substance, you may think you can control how
much you use.

Row 1: But over time,

All: you may need more of the drug to get the same feeling. For some people, that can lead

Girls: What? That’s about our age!

Boys: OMG! Oh nooo…!

All: We have not learnt the skills to think critically and make decisions.

Solo: What should we do?

All: To stop, you may need counseling, medicine, or both. If you have a substance abuse
