EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
E-commerce is growing rapidly in the world. The need for e-commerce is arising day by day.
There are several e-commerce companies which are ruling the industry from number of years.
Amazon is one of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world. It comes in India in the
year 2013,and till now it has invested almost $5 billion in the Indian economy. Amazon is
working well in India and supposes to grow much more in the future. This report is about the
study of ecommerce and its impact on the Indian economy and how faster it will grow in
future.

Developing country can become industrialised and modernised if it can extensively apply IT
to enhance productivity and international competitiveness to develop e-commerce and e-
governance applications. An information based society or knowledge based society is
composed of IT products, IT applications in society and economy as a whole. Many
countries in Asia are taking advantage of e-commerce through opening of economies which
is essential for promoting competition and diffusion of Internet technologies. The Internet is
boosting efficiency and enhancing market integration in developing countries.

This project focuses on the working of E-commerce Company (i.e. Amazon), its marketing
strategy, goals and business model. In amazon every employee has to install an app named
rabbit. With the help of this app amazon keeps regular check on its employees basically on
the delivery boys. And every employee has a unique id and password with the help of which
they can open their profile and get the information about their leaves, present days, and week
offs, and other information regarding the job.
