2. Introduction

AIROCHEM is a leading manufacturer of industrial fans, air pollution control

equipment, pneumatic conveying systems, ventilation systems, heating, cooling
and drying systems.

The company started operations in 1975 and began design and manufacturing
industrial fans. Over the years, the designs have been continuously improved
through significant investment into R&D and adoption of latest tools and
technologies.

Today with over 40 years of experience, AIROCHEM makes world class fans
with up to 92% efficiency.

The development and advancement in fan technology naturally led to foray into
air engineering applications. AIROCHEM has undertaken and successfully
executed projects in air-engineering areas of dust extraction, dust suppression,
fume extraction, pneumatic conveying, heating, cooling and drying systems.

“AIROCHEM” has tie-up with Sealpumps, UK to provide world class dust

suppression solutions using dry fog nozzles.

Our fans and systems are currently in use in diverse industries such as sugar,
chemical, steel, shipping, etc. in India and overseas.

The set-up consists three manufacturing units with 30000 sq. ft. shed (available
space) to carry out the manufacturing activities. The units are equipped with
latest machinery including a CNC profile cutting machine, CNC lathe, welding
machines of various types and capacities, bending machines, dynamic balancing
machines, etc.

The design and manufacturing activity is supported by a skilled and experienced

team consisting of dedicated and qualified engineers, draftsmen, production
managers, supervisors, welders, lathe operators, etc.

Mr L R Nevrekar - BE (Mech), DIM: MANAGEMENT

Mr L R Nevrekar graduated from
Government College of Engineering,
Pune in 1965. He then worked in a
firm who pioneered Ventilation
Systems in India till 1973 before
starting Airochem in 1975. Mr
Nevrekar has also done diploma in
Industrial Management and is
presently looking after Finance,
Manufacturing & Marketing.
