INTRODUCTION

Record of notes for the Alto Semisa School was prepared in order to meet the needs detected in

the management and treatment of academic information that is periodically carried out in the Alto

Semisa school of Puente National Santander this is done to streamline the processes treatment

and integrity of the data which allow maintaining an updated database that benefits all the

participating actors of its academic community.

Which it was designed and built a qualification system oriented to the web and a database that

stores the information managed by the system. For this the project went through the phases of

exploration and analysis, design and finally the implementation of the system the result has been

satisfactory so far.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Some educational institutions choose to improve levels of education, allowing to break certain

paradigms to prepare and train, since the software so requires it forcing teachers to learn the

management of ICT. Therefore, the adoption of software in the educational institution makes it

easier to organize grades records, improving their productivity, since the time in making a record

is less compared to doing it by hand.

JUSTIFICATION

The school Alto Semisa began as a school headquarters in the rural sector and as a result of a

project it became a secondary school, which was made up of seven sites in the north-eastern part

of the municipality of Puente Nacional (Santander).

Two rectors have registered their names in the annals of the institutional history: Gloria

Esperanza Muñoz and Nubia Lucia Abella de Rincon. The administrative staff that the institution

has had since 2005 are: a secretary, a general service assistant, thirteen teachers and 224 students.

Due to the fact that when issuing the qualifications of the educational establishment it is quite

tedious, since this process is done by means of a file in Excel format, which generates delays and

errors when creat ing the report card period achieve the standard of good service that the school

proposes.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, with the development of this project it will be possible to improve in a great way

the way in which the information about the qualifications of the students of Alto Semisa School

of Puente National Santander is recorded and stored.

This work provides an overview of the proposed development process, a web-oriented

qualification system and a database that stores the information managed by the system was

designed and built, for this the project went through the phases of Exploration and analysis,

design and finally the implementation of the system, the result was satisfactory the proposed

objectives were met.
