What is your hometown city, state, regional area or home country and why did you
come to Chemeketa?
I live in Molalla, Oregon but I am originally from
Canada. The reason I am in Chemeketa was to further my education. I did not
graduate high school but did get my GED a long time ago. My goal to go to school
was after it hit me that I would be an empty-nester soon and that I did not have
a degree to help me when I wanted to go get a job.
2. What is your area of study or favorite subject? Why?
Math and Chemistry were my favorite subjects in high school, so going for an Accounting
Degree was a no
brainer.
3. What do you like to do when you're not in the classroom or studying?
I enjoy exploring new hiking trails, watching movies and spending time with my family,
especially my 2-year-old grandson.
4. Are you a member of community groups and/or other activities?
I am not currently.
5. What is your strength of character and how will you change the world?
I am hard worker and honest. When you gain trust of your peers/employees/employers,
things have a way of working towards the greater good.
