You are AMAZING! Just want you all to know that. You are appreciated.

Today, you will be helping your CREW come up with a business proposal like in the Shark Tank
TV Show. This will be an opportunity for your crew to work together towards a common goal.

Help your CREW establish an invention, product, service OR business, for example: dog
walking company, adjustable shower head, new restaurant etc.

Your CREW should then spend time doing the following:

a. Name of invention/product/service or business (with a

creative slogan or hook)
b. Business idea (brief summary of the
product/service/business)
c. Target audience (age group, demographic)
d. Marketing strategies (what type of strategies would you
use? Commercials, social media, etc...These might
depend on your target audience)
e. Roles (each group member must have a role and a
nametag with established role, see attached handout for
examples).
f. Expected Start-up costs/funding (supplies, salaries,
facilities, loans vs. personal investment)
g. Goals (how is success going to be measured? What are
your specific goals for 1 month, 6 month, 1 year, 5 year)

How do I do this?
● It might be helpful to delegate each above letter to your CREW members based
on their interests...
● Research each role within the organization (you can use the internet). Each
group member must have a role and a nametag with their assigned role. CREW
members should be prepared to answer questions from the sharks about these
roles.
● Your information can be presented to the Sharks in any way that your crew sees
fit. You can make Google Slides, a poster, a video, etc.
● Have your crew review the Rubric to make sure you know the expectations.
