Resumen
Contamination by fertilizers occurs when they are used in greater quantities than crops
can absorb, or when they are removed by water or wind from the soil surface before they
can be absorbed. Excesses of nitrogen and phosphates as well as other chemical
compounds can infiltrate groundwater or be washed away by water. This overload of
nutrients causes eutrophication (accumulation of organic matter) of lakes, reservoirs and
ponds and leads to an explosion of algae that suppress other aquatic plants and animals.
Agricultural, forestry and fisheries methods and their scope are the main causes of the
loss of biodiversity in the world.
One of them is the agricultural production has a profound effect on the environment as a
whole. They are the main source of water contamination by nitrates, phosphates and
especially pesticides. On the other hand, they are an anthropogenic source of gases

responsible for the greenhouse effect, methane and nitrous oxide, and contribute
greatly to other types of air and water pollution. At present, Cascas has become the first
national grape producer with an increasingly strong participation in the wine and pisco
market. Cascas has been declared by the Regional Government of La Libertad as the
Capital of the Grape and Wine and recognize the festivities as a Regional Harvest
Festival, through Ordinance No. 019-2008-GR-LL / CR.1
This investigation will become the source of consultation for further investigations of this
phenomenon.
