■ SUMMARIZE
MPGT180(150/120)E stainless steel roller polisher is a new generation
rice polishing equipment, which it absorbed the key technology the
latest new technology and depend on the different of various raw paddy
in china, it ’ s suitable for not only long grain nonglutinous
rice(Indica rice), but also for short grain nonglutious rice(Japonica
rice).
It adopt high pressure watering of mist spray, under condition of
stainless steel roller turning to produce friction heating combined
action with water can make the starch and nutrient substance on rice
appearance form a shine and lucency colloid layer. This layer not only
bigger improve rice oxidation resistance to postpone rice refreshing
time, but also can meet the effect of wash- free for the smooth and
clean appearance, few lost it’s nutrient ingredient and better taste

Watering of high pressure mist spray


Put water mist into polishing chamber under high pressure action,
watering well-distributed and suitable volume on rice appearance,
through controlling and adjusting watering pressure device to
control watering unbalanced to make rice appearance more smooth
and clean

Water feed automatic controlling device


A water feed automatic controlling device be equipped for avoiding
big water volume when switch on or switch off machine. When no
or too much rice in chamber, the water pump can stop working
automatic right way, when rice into the chamber to reach a special
volume, the water pump can start working automatic.

Automatic control device for block-preventing


When material too much or pressure too big in polishing chamber,
the control device will stop to feed automatically during machine
is running, it ’ s effective prevent machine stop because of
material blocking; after machine run normally, the device will
open to feed automatically. So it can effective prevent motor
burning and belt wearing.
High Strength wear-resisting mirror surface roller
The polishing roller adopt wear-resisting mirror surface roller,
with long useful life, no bran-sticking, and rice surface are
smooth & satiny after be polished.

■ WORKING PRINCIPLE
In polishing chamber, the rice get through water-spraying and go
forward along with the surface of polishing roller, the rotary
polishing roller as per fixed line speed to rub rice surface layer
and make friction among rice each other and rice with rice sieve to
reach rice polished effect. meanwhile to pull out rice bran by the
high pressure fan.
The brightness & precision of polishing rice be adjusted by the
pressure of pressure door & how much water to spray.

■ INSTALLING,DEBUGGING,OPERATING AND MAINTAINING
Main machine have to install at the concrete bed, fixed by foot
bolt. basic plane & machine base have to a good meet, and required
to level. When lock the foot bolt, the centre line of main shaft
should parallel with horizontal plane. Without serious vibrate
when machine be run.
Keeping a space about 2.5m at front and rear of machine, and 1m
at left and right for convenient to sieve adjusting or replacing.
To level rectify when air blower be installed, and fixing it by
bolts. When air blower required installing at the opposite
direction with air outlet of main machine, the air outlet which
on collection hopper upper and blanking plate can interchange with
opposite side.
After main machine and air blower fixed position, the motor must
ground protection. And to check the turning direction for main
shaft of machine whether or not same direction with the vane wheel
of air blower.
The type V belt of the machine be well adjusted before leave
factory. Should often check and adjust it.
After check no abnormal for main machine, air blower and watering
position, could start up machine as follow sequence:
Put on power source;
Starting air blower;
Noload starting main machine;
Open flow control gate slowly after main machine be running
normally, to adjust circuit flow control gate and pressure
door according to rice output.
Starting watering. the water volume of each position can be
adjusted. Should pay attention to main shaft position watering
faster, in order to avoid more watering arise machine block.
when out rice or bran with rice flour or small rice skin
appeared or out rice are agglomeration should adjust small
watering; when out rice color show dim and it’s appearance
with obvious gutter, should adjust bigger watering. in general,
hand twiddle rice together, when open your hand and shake
slight, rice granule can nature disperse, it ’ s mean the
watering is suitable, the out rice should smooth surface with
glossy
A new machine with new roller, new rice blade and new sieve with
a bigger pressure in machine, so output could a smaller, after
running in 1 or 2 work shift can meet normal result.
Shut down sequence;
Turn off watering;
Stopping feeding;
After discharge out all rice in polishing chamber switch off
main machine;
The air blower can be switched off after main machine stopped
for 5 minutes, to ensure polish chamber dry and decrease bran
collection
Attention to cut off the power supply(exception temporary
stop);
Pay attention to follow items while machine is running:
No-load watering are prohibited under any condition;
To observe main machine circuit, watering volume, the
quality of out rice, rice storage in hopper and tank water
level in real time;
To check air blower, the bearing which on main machine shaft,
if over heating;
To find out abnormal vibrating and noise at any time;
Usual to check the temperature for motor, and pay attention
to abnormal noise, viewing the voltage if be normally in
order to avoid machine running under condition for voltage
is over high or over low.
If any abnormal noise, abnormal small, unstable running or
parts temperature over high be found should stop machine for
checking in time.
To check sieve plate regularly, avert sieve hole be blocked.
Should replace broken sieve plate.
Change sieve plate direction to use for different structure are
prohibited.
Regular to clean bran for polishing chamber, bran-collecting
hopper, vane, volute casing of blower and cyclone.
The bearing should maintain usually to keep good lubrication.
regular filling or replace lubricating oil as follow:
One time to fill lubricating oil in 7day, and one time to
replace lubricating oil in one month for blower bearing.
One time to fill lubricating oil in 7day, and one time to
replace lubricating oil in two months for main shaft bearing
Periodic cleaning each nozzle filter net, in case of blocked. To
replace broken one in time.
main machine and blower should notice follow items while it’s
running:
not permit to open the side plate of up and down & two side;
prohibiting make small metal or other things fall into
polishing chamber;
dismount safety hood are prohibited.

■ OPERTION FOR ELECTRIC CIRCUIT,WATERING AND BLOCK-PREVENTING
Heat Protection Set: set to the current of 45kw thermal relay at
50A(phase current); 55kw thermal replay at 60A(phase); 75kw
thermal relay at 81A(phase current) and blower current at 20A.
Tank water supply: when adopt tap water, connecting it to float
valve. It’s will stop water supply automatically after water full.
When manpower water supply, the water must higher than liquid level
switch, otherwise the pump and heating tube will stop work, however
couldn’t water over full.
Preparation for pump start: first should add enough draw water.
When pump not be used a long time, may motor doesn’t work because
of dirt blocked vane, so before power supply, opening the plastic
cover of rear shaft to turn motor several times.
Water supply check: firstly taking down watering pipe at two ends,
set the switch which on control box at “manual”position, the
watering indicate light switch on, the pump starting, to check
water pressure gauge(waiting about one minute ), then adjusting
reduce pressure device to set it ’ s pressure value between
0.3-0.35MPa.finally switch on flow meter to check water pipe if
is normal with water out and water pipe if with water leaked at
some where.
Constant temperature heating adjustment: set the temperature
about 40 ° C(the heating temperature show on digital readout
temperature controller). When the temperature in water tank reach
the setting temperature will stop heating, and lower than setting
temperature will start heating automatically.
Auto watering control adjusting:
The work principle of auto watering control
When the switch of “auto-stop-hand” which on control panel
turn at “auto” position, the watering will at auto watering
status. It’s will be controlled by electrical current, can
watering between upper limit and down limit of current which
be set on digital display current controller. When the current
exceed it’s set value will stop watering automatically.
The value of current set for it’s up limit and down limit
In general, the upper limit current value set as per main
machine rated current. Such as main machine’s power is 55kw,
the up limit current be set at 105A; and 75kw power is upper
limit current be set at 140A. while machine is running, if
motor work current exceed the up value, watering will stop
automatically; if it under this value will automatic
watering again.
the down limit current value be set on base of noload current,
as per initial stage feeding current. The set value must
higher than noload current value. after machine start up, and
feeding normally, waiting outlet begin discharge then close
feeding door. The value show on meter can be set to down limit
current value.
Operation for upper limit and lower limit current set
Put range switch at lower limit position which on digital
display current regulator, setting lower limit value by
turning knob. After set lower limit current put range switch
at upper limit position. To set upper limit current.
Function for drainage(block-preventing in winter season)
After machine stopped, still in quantity water in pipe, water
gauge and pump. If in winter season, it’s easy frost crack them.
So a pipe drainage function be designed for it.
The principle:
After turn off machine(not put off power supply), put pipe
drainage switch on, electric control system will auto
switchover magnetic valve, compressed air can suck water to tank
through magnetic valve. After all water in pipe be sucked, put
drainage switch at off position. PAY ATTENTION TO: when normal
working, the drainage switch no workable, moreover must put it
at stop position, otherwise watering no workable
Block-preventing function
The machine can prevent machine blocked because of
misoperation.
The work principle
Real time collect site signal by electric control system, if
any abnormal appear, the system will close feeding door and pump
watering automatically, to reach machine be blocked. If the
signal is normal the feeding door will open and pump watering
automatically
Key point for operation:
To correct adjust feeding air pressure(pressure regulator at
side of small operation box), refer to value between
0.3-0.6MPa.
To correct adjust upper limit and down limit value at digital
display current regulator
Before start up and under abnormal circumstance, the feeding
door are close status. The feeding door auto open when normal
work.
Put the switch of hand, stop, auto at auto position can prevent
block, other position no workable.

■ OPERATION FOR HAND,AUTOMATIC AND STOP


To close watering flow meter knob by clockwise, turning
“ auto,stop,hand ” switch to hand position, put on general
breaker and small breaker.
To start up blower, the green light lighting, then start up main
machine, the green light ligting.
To pull open feeding door, adjusting feeding door to control
the flow under designed capacity.
Watering and pressure weight adjustment
Put pressure weight at pressure lever end to give a small
pressure to pressure door, slow turning flow meter knob by
counter clockwise. Under normal condition, if front
watering at about 25 water column, and rear watering at about
35 water column, nozzles can spraying. This time should
check out rice water: to grab outing rice in hand, then
grasping it gently, if rice is clustering mean more
watering, can decrease watering, otherwise can increase
watering.
Two watering point on machine. Pay attention to watering
adjustment while operating. Because polish chamber too long,
after watering need some time to effect the current and out
rice. If the current value is still increasing could be more
watering.
When pull pressure weight or more add pressure weight, must
pay attention to the current change, to confirm optimum
pressure weight position and how many be used must under main
machine rated current circumstance.
When no rice feed to machine or overload for motor, should
stop watering immediately
Auto operation
Put switch“auto stop hand”at auto position, watering and stop
watering will be controlled according to the upper limit and
down limit current value which be set at electrical digital
display device. If the value bigger than the upper limit value
or smaller than the down limit value, watering will stop
automatically

Stop:
Put “auto stop hand” switch at stop position. Mean stop
water pump.
Close feeding door, continue to run machine, lift up
pressure door, discharge all rice for chamber, then stop
main machine. Continue running blower for 2-5 minutes to
blow out all bran and clean moisture in chamber can stop
blower. and cut off power supply
